I'd check your store. Mine had an end cap with blu-rays of Dr. Who Series 5, Torchwood Series 1, 2 and Children Of Earth, Being Human Series 3, Sherlock Series 1 and 2, Top Gear, Life, and I believe Planet Earth and a few others.

The endcap referenced above was picked clean. There was at least 1 copy of each in the TV section.

They also had Dr Who Series 6 P1 and P2 and Doctor Who: The End of Time, Parts 1/2 for $19.99 each (but that is only $5 off their regular price), so passed on those.

... and they had S1 and S2 of the show, Sherlock, also $19.99 each.

Those Torchwood prices , while good for US prices, aren't that exciting considering you can get Seasons 1-4 box set at Amazon UK for about $60 shipped. Same thing with Sherlock, you can get both seasons shipped for about $25

Just keep in mind these BBC shows can often be region locked, and much of the content is UK 50i spec. So several players will not play this content. But if you have a region free player, you should be okay.

I don't think they region lock much, at least not the stuff I've looked at. I did forget that some of their content is 50i though. Any idea if there's a good site for checking on 50i content?

I picked up the Dr Giggles & Otis double feature for $7.99 today. I don't think many stores had any copies until a few weeks ago. Still shows as N/A online but at least 2 stores near me got in copies.

Awesome deals on BBC titles. Already own pretty much everything. Will look for Sherlock S2. Debating if I should upgrade my Torchwood S1 (have it on HD-DVD)

Doctor Who S5 is sold out online. Others have said it was out of stock online before and then they got it back it stock. Does anyone know when they usually get "sold out online" stuff back in stock?

Many thanks. Grabbed myself S2 of Sherlock with free shipping. I had no idea they accepted PayPal. Glad I had a nice balance to chip away at. Think I'll head to my local store to check for Torchwood.

I've held off buying the Matt Smith years, but for $19.99 I would snag S5. Also wish Life had the David Attenborough narration instead of Oprah's. Can't have everything, I suppose.

Even though it says "2007" in the title, look in the description:

The 2011 release date leads me to believe that it was the initial Echo Bridge release, not the earlier Buena Vista 2008 release.

I noticed the same for The Lookout, which I still am trying to get the Buena Vista release at a good price.

This is why I don't like the new set up at BB in their DVD/Blu-ray department. I was there earlier this week to browse, didn't know about either sale and it was not obvious while I was there in the store. I would have missed out if I didn't read this thread. Just got back with Seasons 1 & 2 of Torchwood and Fright Night 3D. I got Coraline set up for a pick up at another BB.

Some local NJ BB's this week had a few copies each of Doctor Who S6 Part One and S6 Part Two, but all the stores I went to were wiped out of DW S5. The full S6 set isn't part of the sale.
I also saw the Torchwood's, but the only one I need is Miracle Day, which isn't part of the sale.
I managed to snag a copy of Being Human S3...and it was NOT easy to find. Apparently this sale ends some time in November, but I'd advise anyone interested in any of these to get out and look for them ASAP because they're disappearing fast.

This may have already been mentioned in another thread, but when I stopped by Best Buy today I noticed they had some new 3D titles for 19.99, including Alice in Wonderland, Tron: Legacy, Jackass 3, Nightmare Before Christmas, How to Train Your Dragon, and Madagascar 3. The last two came with $8 in movie money for Rise of the Guardians.
Also picked up Existenz, which I guess isn't supposed to be released until 12/4 but was already out on the shelves. I know this was already available in a couple of multi-movie packs, but this is the stand-alone disc and features the special features that were available with the original DVD release. It's one of my favorites, so for $7.99, I couldn't pass it up. I just hope the transfer isn't awful like most Echo Bridge releases.
