I just dealt with this same problem yesterday because just signing out does not fix the problem. I used the BB help chat and they advised just as dsa_shea said, you must sign out and then add an item to your cart as a guest.

I was able to grab Chopping Mall and Blood Diner in store. I had a 10 dollar certificate, so it came out to 12.99 plus tax per title. I can live with that.

Yep...did store pickup on this yesterday. Fantastic price, also...though I haven't verified it, it supposedly will work on Mobile D2D for Vudu. So for $2 more, digital hd as well.

What's up with instore pickup now at BB?
Picked up Fantastic Beasts (3D) today. got this today and they have this new annoying new habit of putting hold stickers on the case/slipcover and they don't come off easy. And they take up the entire from cover. I do it there. If it doesn't come off standard release with slipcover then I'm having them get me a fresh copy. It's getting annoying and I hate to be one of "those" guys. I told her I want to give it as a present, like I should have to make a sheepish excuse. SteelBooks are always plastic wrapped so we're good there. True story, I got a new one for Moonlight standard release when this happened, saw when I was browsing around weeks later that same badly peeled stickered Moonlight on the new release display. No name thank god, but come on. Have some respect for your store and product. At least take the damn slip cover off and toss it. So stupid...

I hate those as well...now since I've been peeling stickers forever, I've gotten downright masterful at it. But every once in a while I run into a problem sticker and its usually one from Best Buy. However, I will say B&N is still the worst stickers of all because they have a layer of metal, or something inside that sticker and it's flat out maddening.

That Goo Gone has destroyed slipcovers that I have tried to use it on, so I would not recommend using it for that. The slipcovers are what Best Buy usually tries to maim with their stupid stickers.

Weird, I've used it on dozens of slip covers and never had an issue.

Yeah, you have to be careful with Goo Gone. In most cases it won't damage print, but on some things it will pull it right off. (Try it on the cover of an old magazine; I spilled a few drops on a copy of Entertainment Weekly once, and it left white spots.)

The older Goo Gone formula worked fantastically well. California basically outlawed that formulation a few years ago, I don't think the newer formula is as good.

Yep. Dis-olv-it, similar to Goo-Gone but better, will also destroy slipcovers or anything else that has ink.

I don't purchase from BB simply because of their stupid stickers. I've picked up orders with that sticker, take one look at it destroying a slipcover, and told them it was unacceptable as the sticker could not be removed so give me a refund. I get "that look" but who cares? While I don't actually care about slipcovers as most (all?) simply duplicate what's on the case it's the principle of the thing. They *do* make stickers that can be easily removed yet stay on securely. Interestingly, all the discs I've ordered have come with shrinkwrap over the slipcover and the sticker on the shrinkwrap.
