Yes. And Dvdplanet's price usually has a slight delay before it matches DD price. SO this wont last long.

Thank you so much. Their site is running really slow, but I reloaded and ordered with Google Checkout and that was easy.
BTW : It ran $13 for me shipped -- what a rip-off!

There's still a big chance this gets cancelled, but if so, it's not a big deal to me -- I was going to pass on this since I already upgraded my Band of Brothers to Blu, but then I remembered that I haven't opened my set and it's a Costco purchase, so I could return it still return this if it actually comes through.

Sites usually do a pending charge when you do an order. After a day or two it'll fall off, it's not the actual charge. It also doesn't mean they can't cancel the order if it was a mistake.

My Band of Brothers BD order, which I paid $3.91 for is still in process when I checked just now. If it gets through, then great, if not no big deal. I already own the DVD set that I got for Christmas a few years ago and I'm happy with it.

So they charge your CC when you order an obvious price mistake item, and then you have to wait around for the cancellation notice and for them to credit your CC. Meanwhile they earn interest on the money. Fraud by another name..... Both of these companies are owned by Deep Discount, which used to be a good source for reasonably priced DVDs right behind Amazon. They have certainly gone way downhill in the last couple of years.

Shocker ... my comments about them were true. They do these periodically perhaps because they think it is a cheap way to get people to come to their site. Perhaps they just want people to create an account on their site (and enter CC numbers). Not sure, but this is just the way they do business ... offer a deal too good to be true, get a bunch of orders, cancel all said orders because of a "mistake". Rinse, repeat.
