I don't get it. Whats the point of these prices when a US Customer cannot take advantage of them as you are not considered a Prime customer in the UK if you are one in the US ? Am I missing something ? TIA

Thanks for the clarification, hariseldon. And yes, no VAT comes off the LD price

Those are good deals for Supernatural and Entourage. I'm tempted to sign up for prime to just cancel it before the 30 days are up.

The Vincent Price Collection II went for $34.99. Not as good as III, but still pretty good. A lot of other people thought so, because it went to 100% Claimed much faster than III did. The specter of Collection I probably had something to do with it.

yeah, and the XFiles set went VERY fast. 67.99 GBP was its Prime Deal price. Am sure the US price will hit that very soon (definitely by BF) but I can't wait to start watching

Looks like the currency rates are up substantially today -- about 2.5-3 cents compared to Monday. Amazon spikes their exchange almost immediately so the spread between Visa and AMazon right now is aovers 5.5 cents. Assuming you can guarantee your charge posts today and you have a Currency free card that a pretty huge differential
Official is 33% as of a couple hours ago. Amazon's convertor adds a couple %; but that seems to be less than Visa is adding if you use a USA dVisa Debit or Credit Card. I don't know what MC & Am EX are hitting people.

I'm confused: I just did an order with a different UK retailer & only got hit 33.5%. Paid with a Visa card. My Amazon order the day after Brixit was around 47%

My set of the Next Generation arrived today, and everything was in order. My Enterprise set should arrive in couple of days by that account.

Ok, now I REALLY hate you. I've been eyeing the NG and Enterprise sets for a while.

Royal Mail or a different shipper?

My order shipped 7/12 via I-parcel. Hopefully better than the last time or two which ended up around 5 weeks. I really wish they let me specify Royal Mail everytime -- I'd even pay them a couple extras dollars for the option.

My results with Asendia, Iparcel, and DHL have all been poor at best.
Royal. Whenever that sale happened. They had shipped that same day I ordered it, so that was hella quick.

EDIT - looks like it was July 8th when it was shipped, so 7 days ago?

Yeah, the sweet spot was those prices when they were lowered a week or so ago. That clinched it for me.

Mine was dispatched via Royal Mail on the 9th and hasn't yet arrived but I expect it any day. No tracking number is listed so I can't see where it is...

I placed 1 order order for 8 items on June 25th. It was split into 3 shipments and all were shipped by Asendia. 1 of them has even even arrived!

It's not as good a deal as it was last week but Amazon UK is selling The Next Generation set for $67.16 shipped.

I was charged $63.66 for the ST Next Gen and $30.08 for the Hitchcock set. ST shipped on 7/9 and received on 7/16 Royal Mail. Hitchcock just shipped on 7/15.

So, here's how my order went:

July 7 - ordered on amazon.co.uk
July 8 - item shipped via Ascendia, apparently from Switzerland according to the postage imprint.
July 20 - item arrived (2 days earlier than estimated on Amazon)

re: International Blu-ray deals

My Enterprise set has not arrived yet but that's the one that was shipped via Asendia, so I'm looking at 2 weeks for delivery, which would mean this coming week.
