Holy crap, just got home and was to surprised to find the lone disc I ordered (The Final Countdown) sitting in my mailbox today. (It only took 3 months) After all this time, I'd kind of forgotten about it, and had assumed my order had been cancelled, as I don't remember ever being charged for it. Sure enough, after checking my statement, I was only billed for it recently. Hope the rest of you either get your product or refunds.

Yeah I am not going to go with a burning torch or anything, as getting arrested right before my vacation would totally suck. Just going to show up with my order and ask for a refund or a partial fill and partial refund, or perhaps even a complete fulfillment.

It's probably 50/50 that he will even be there though with this new house he bought with our money.

FYI I heard from him a few weeks ago, talking about people wanting to come to his house. He told me the address that is floating around is not his address. I know you probably dont believe that, but you may be wasting your time. Have you tried talking to him recently on Twitter? Tell him your plan, you may get a response.

Hmmm, I have been trying to be somewhat vague as to the date so he not just out to dinner or something that night. Also he hasn't responded to any of my tweets since January.

If he did get the house he was planning on, he may have moved there. As hidden as he may think he is by that, it's easy enough to look up the info on the county web site as all that info is public.

Well the rumors are true, he has moved (about 1 month ago).

I talked to his brother for awhile, he was pretty nice but said he was only nice because I was nice to him. He related stories about having to yell at people at conventions and threatening to stab them, which was a weird thing to say...

Anyway I couldn't get a new address or # out of him. He called Demetrios, who didn't answer and left a message. He took my info and said they would get back to me (my hopes on that one aren't high).

He seemed to thing that the situation had been mostly resolved, wither he wasn't telling to truth or Demetrios was lying to him I do not know.

Well there is another $7 in toll road fees I'm out now.

But who knows maybe before I head back through they will call back and arrange a pickup.

I guess "mostly resolved" is a matter of perspective. Demetrios got to keep most of our money and most of us got nothing in return. So from his perspective, it's been mostly resolved to his satisfaction.

Creepy stuff, but maybe he was trying to assert himself for your benefit just in case you tried anything. No doubt he was also attempting to discourage like minded folks from tracking his brother down. All in all it adds a really unsavory feeling on top of the rest of the garbage being spewed in this debacle of a sale.

He texted me back!!!

Said to drop back by and the brother would have a partial refund/fulfillment.

I did and it was there. With a few bonus items (mostly freebies and dead stock but still a fe cool items).

The mom came to the door this time and when I brought up Demetrios she got a very "Oh Fuck" vibe going. But brother showed up with the bag and defused that weird situation.

Not sure if it was quite worth the whole ordeal and I will defiantly not be buying from him again but I am reasonably satisfied at this point.

Well after numerous email attempts to contact Demetrios and/or HorrorMovieEmpire.com, I found this today in of all places the SPAM folder of my email:

"We apologize for the delay in both getting back to you and shipping. Here's what we are now doing since its been so long for everybody; if you prefer a refund we will issue you a refund, if you still don't mind waiting/want your stuff we will get it out as soon as we can but we are still behind and can't promise a specific time frame but it will be soon, but we also will give you a gift certificate for the shop for the entire order/remainder of your order as well. Please just let us know which you'd prefer.

Thank you!!!"

Part of me wants to go ahead and wait it out since I had already counted the money as being gone anyway but the other part of me is saying get the refund and be done with it. Time to ponder somemore.
