It's not so much that I'd consider myself an impatient person (though one month of waiting is sufficient amount of time) but frankly, I just don't TRUST the guy and his operation.
Why would you open a paypal claim? He states that he will give refunds if people want to cancel their orders. Wouldn't that be your first step?

Oh ya, of course, I'll be calling him first with the phone number provided even though someone already mention the number doesn't work and then email afterwards though I don't see it being the end of the world if I do file a claim with him first, either way.

There was some hint about a "Mondo" sale on Twitter.

People getting their orders from last week shipped before those of us waiting 4 weeks is why this is my one and only order with the site. We all ordered the same thing, BU products, this is stupid.

Crap; it's a new year... isn't it? So consider that item apparently shipped out within 4 days once the BU sale rush lulled. That order was from the Synapse sale.

I think a lot of th Blue Underground items were backordered. At least the vendor didn't just shut down the sale when merchandise was down so we could all reap the low prices. Once my items arrive it'll have been the deal of the year so far for me.

It's just a matter of him actually responding to e-mails at this point. I don't feel like playing Twitter tag since I've already waited five days for a reply. I sent another e-mail today, but if I don't hear back by next Friday I'm going ahead and opening the claim.

A lot of people, including me, have been getting this email:

Hi Xxxxxxxx,

All orders are out and you'll get an email with tracking number(s) within the next 48 hours. Thanx!!
So maybe we're finally getting somewhere.

NoirFan, Had you emailed recently to ask about your order? I did not get that email, and I am just wondering if that email is only going out to people who've requested info. I have not sent an email trying to patiently give the fellow a chance to get his orders filled. After his long Facebook post, I was tempted to request a refund but decided to wait it out.

I emailed him, and I think everyone else who received the email did as well, at least going by Blu-ray.com's forum.

if there is a Mondo sale I will be using the layaway feature because I will be going ape shit.

that is if i get my Scorpion stuff.....worried about how he keeps track of pre-orders also...as he doesn't seem to be the most organized guy.

Haven't seen the e-mail myself. Looks like some folks who got one contacted him before me, some after.

I don't doubt he received my recent e-mails, as he responded to a couple of them last month that were sent to the same address.

Got the first item from my 12/14/11 Corman order via Amazon today. I tweeted him that it sucks he sink funds into Amazon and he said not sunk funds if he gets a repeat customer. The guy seems pretty committed to building a business.

Judging by the prices on his site, I bet he had the sale to drive business to his site, hoping customers would also buy his higher-priced discs. He got an overwhelming response but no one probably bought anything other than the sale items. Now he's stuck trying to play catch-up. And the only way he'll get repeat customers is if he keeps his sale going on but he'll keep losing money. I don't see how he can stay afloat for very long.

What if someone (hypothetically) receives a floater disc from the guy?, dare to send it back for an exchange and a round 2 of the very unpleasant waiting game?

Disclaimer: I never cared for floaters though.

I also received the email that all orders had been sent out. I'll be excited when those discs arrive on my doorstep.

No E mail yet even though I've contacted him and posted several encouraging comments on his Facebook page.

Not sure how much faith I have in that email, which I haven't gotten.

I talked to him before and he said it would be shipped out by last weekend. Never got a shipping notice and the site didn't update. Talked to him last week and he then said I'd get a tracking number and he'd update the system that night or the next day and that still hasn't happened yet.

He did say I should have it either yesterday or Tuesday, so hopefully this time it's really been shipped.

Yeah, still no e-mail either.

I was slightly irked to see that he took the time to "Like" a comment someone left on his Facebook page complaining that he had never answered their e-mail, yet he didn't even bother to post a response to guy's message. Came off as kind of dickish to me...

I got a shipping notice today. I ordered "Zombie" in late December.

Something else seems weird: Yesterday he claims that all the orders have been dispatched and
tracking numbers were forthcoming, yet a customer on Facebook complained about waiting for his order this morning and then later mentioned the guy refunded him without notice. Why would he be refunding orders if they supposedly shipped already?

His avoidance of all things customer related on Facebook these last couple days is sending a very poor message.

Sounds a bit passive-aggressive.

Yeah, not exactly the kind of vibe you should be putting out there while still attempting to establish yourself.

I got a shipping notice for my copy of Last Hard Men/Sky Riders. Didn't have a tracking number though

Still waiting on Scorpion stuff.

Edit: That Scorpion order had some 1/24 pre-orders so I'm not too worried.

I'm still waiting on part of my 12/14/11 and all of my 12/19/11 orders. It seems that a one month delay is fairly standard.
