Been keeping an eye on this on my Wish list for months just waiting for the price to drop enough to pick it up finally. As I was buying gifts for my wife, I noticed it, and added it to my other purchases. Merry Christmas to me. :thumbsup:

Amazon's had Season 2 (and Season 1) on sale around for around $25 many times over the past year. The last time was around Black Friday, but I'd bet it will be again just after Christmas. I was thinking the same would finally happen for Season 3, but I'm glad it did earlier.

This might go down even further next week as BBY lists it for $24.99. S1 and S2 went as low as $21.49 at Amazon during this year's BF.

Fringe Season 3 is 18.99 on dvd and 24.99 on blu-ray this week at Bestbuy, Seasons 1 and 2 are 14.99 for DVD.

Check this out. Amazon finally lowered their price to $24.99 to match Best Buy. I had recently ordered it from Amazon, and it shipped, but I didn't receive it yet. I figured I'd try to get a price adjustment for the $2. They said they couldn't give me the $2 price adjustment, but instead gave me a $5 promotional credit. Obviously I'm happy with the results, but I just find it amusing, since they ended up giving me an extra $3. I'm sure it is because now I'm guaranteed to place another order with them, instead of taking my 2 bucks and never ordering again. But we all know that I would have been ordering from them again anyway. So thanks for the 5 bucks, Amazon! You're the bestest store ever!

I did the exact same thing and my order shipped between the time I left my house this morning to go to Best Buy and when I got back an hour later. I wasn't able to cancel my Amazon order on my phone, I wish they would allow you to, but I went ahead and bought a copy at the store. So I get home to find out that my order has shipped (figures) and that I was charged the 26.99 price and not the 24.99 price. So i called and I got a 2 dollar promotional credit on my account. I guess I'll have to take my set back to Best Buy.

That's cool, but for $2, I don't know if I'd even bother asking for a refund on the difference. But then again, for $5, since there's something else I'd like to order from them, maybe I would. (as that would cut the price in half). Did you call, or email? I ordered mine about a week ago, and it's not scheduled to show up until Thursday.

I always submit the form on the website under Help/Contact Us. I never take the time to call. I figure it only takes 1 minute to submit the form, but calling could take much longer. If I get turned down, then I let it go. I don't continue to fight for the discount, although if it is a large amount, then I may return the item and repurchase. I've only done that twice though.

Well, I sent them an e-mail anyway, so I guess we'll see. According to their policy, they do not do price adjusting post ordering. But, if it's worked for some of you, why not try? The worse they can say is no, and I'm no worse off for the effort.

Just got an e-mail reply that they'll be refunding me the $2. I would have preferred the $5 promo credit, but I'll still take this. The money saved will still go to the same place anyway. Thanks for the head's up.

Wow, you got a response really fast! It may not seem like much, but 2 bucks is 2 bucks. It all adds up. As long as I haven't actually received the item yet, I always tell them that the price dropped before it shipped. I think there's a better chance of them honoring the adjustment that way...
