I decided to order Ben Hur and Citizen Kane. Both are backordered, but I don't mind waiting for these deals to come through. I don't order often from Best Buy, but these two deals were too good to pass up.

sweet! I don't mind waiting the backorder too, so I selected instore pickup. My store was "out" apparently, but there was a copy in the next town over.. So I'll be going over tomorrow to pick it up.

I also ordered 1 with the Backorder, should the store not actually have any.

Even though I already own Ben-Hur UCE and Citizen Kane UCE I decided to order both again at this price. Should also get an extra 10% cashback using my Discovercard. I'll have to decide which version of Kane to keep when it arrives. My copy is still unopened.

Do the pictures of the set on the back of the box reflect the actual disc case? I really don't want such a big ass box; I'd rather have the regular size blu-ray case that appears to be only sold at Best Buy. I got the UCE, but haven't opened it yet.

I got shot down on the price match this am (didn't know about the multiple versions). I was able to order one for pick-up after seeing this thread and already received the notice it's ready.

Twas twilight on Black Friday when I found out about Ben-Hur and Kane. Took a chance and did in store pickup and it said both were ready. Get there and even though BB wasn't too busy the aftermath looked like a warzone. Browsed for some things then stood in pick up line. Kane was there but they couldn't find Hur so guy went away and pulled movie only version. I told him it was the big set and he came back with the one without the figurine. Fine thinks I, but the lady checking me out says that's the wrong one and disappears for a long time. I think the gig is up and I"m not getting Hur, which is the one I really wanted. But she comes up with the one with the figurine so I left with both in hand.

Luckily I paid for my wait by them pulling the wrong Kane (she didn't bat an eye at it) so I got the UCE of that one and not the BB exclusive .

Not liking the look of this for my instore pick up.

I received the initial 'Thank You For Your Order' that states I'll get a seperate email with confirmation my item is ready for pick up....except I have yet to get that emal and I placed my order 5 hours ago.

Hopefully I get it asap. I also received the same email for the one I decided to have shipped - I'll not be too happy of I don't get either.

Is anyone else waiting to hear?

I actually just checked the site and it's now showing Unavailable at the store I hope to pick it up from, even though it stated in stock when I ordered.

Guess I'll wait and see...

I had no problem finding and buying Citizen Kane in store as it was in all 3 stores I visited looking for Ben Hur. Thank you for posting that Ben Hur was available again online. I have found out about many deals reading these threads including Farscape complete in blu at B&N for under $76 plus tax using the 30% off coupon plus my membership. Thanks again and happy holidays.

So the Citizen Kane version on sale is just one disc or multiple discs? I ordered a copy online to be picked up in store as it says it was available but as of 2 hours later I have not received an email to pick it up. I am going to hold them to my order one way or another.

So I got the email saying it wasn't open for pick up. Called the number, lady said she couldn't get it shipped to me as it is "sold out" though online says back order. Screw Best Buy. If anyone has an extra copy of either movie and would sell it, let me know by PM and I would gladly pay.

I believe Citizen Kane is missing one bonus disk with bonus movie on it.
