Either the Doctor Who DVD set is overpriced, or the blu-ray set is a real bargain.

(Or, you know, a typo. Don't wanna exclude the middle.)

Waiting to see the Amazon bluray BF schedule. If Jurassic Park is on the lineup, I'll wait.

If not, I'm 200% sure Amazon will price match that $39.99 price and I'll get it then.

Hmmm those Die Hard movies are tempting. Though not something that I really need. Are they good transfers?

X-men Trilogy... but those are probably stock titles that will continue to plummet in cost.

The Die Hard [4 film] Collection was $19.99 at Fry's this week so these have been cheaper than $7.99/each. The first has some grain/noise but vibrant colors although still looks dated; it's a definite upgrade over DVD but not stellar and the outside night scenes shine on Blu. I haven't gotten beyond the first yet but DVDtalk's review of Die Hard II suggests that transfer is the worst of the bunch but DVDverdict says otherwise. I understand 3 and especially 4 are pristine. Live Free and Die Hard is the theatrical edition, the unrated version remains unreleased on Blu.

Yes, they are good transfers. The complete collection of Blu-Rays was on sale @ Fry's last week for $19.99. I imagine you could get that same deal sometime this holiday season.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Definitely be holding off and just put that on a list of "future stuff to look for".

I wish there was a Fry's closer to me, but I am on one side of Atlanta and it is on the other.

Plus, and I don't know if has been mentioned elsewhere, Best Buy has seasons 1 & 2 for $25 each right now. Don't know if it will hold true, but I noticed on the sales tag yesterday that the price expires/ends on 11/26.

Obviously not as cheap as Costco, but a good alternative for those w/o a Costco or Costco membership. Been looking to pick this up for sometime, so hopefully my Costco has it in stock.

Do you have a link to Amazon's Black Friday week items that will be on sale?

Forreals? I need to get on that, although the CS packaging is pretty damn nice.

Jurassic Park is $30.99 on Target.com for some reason. Probably won't last long.
