I thought Brave was disappointing for a Pixar film, and I already own it, but for $9 it would be a good gift.

It pretty much disgraced the Pixar name. Complete bullshit film.

I thought the same thing reading this thread. I have yet to talk to a person that actually liked the movie.

Haven't seen Brave but for the price it can be easily flipped for practically no loss at all

Was Cinderella the version with DC and DVD? Still can't believe it was $15 (already got it in the summer)

No. The regular one. Just the BD and DVD. I can survive w/o the DC of it. For that price..fuck anything that's not physically a part of the set.

Big mistake. I got there at 8:45. The place was a frigging zoo. Everything was picked over. No decent Blus at all. I couldn't get down aisles. Lots of moms shouting out to no one in particular that they need a copy of Brave. At that moment I quickly turned around & got the fuck out of there. I feel so dirty & ashamed! I promised myself I would never be one of "those" Black Friday people!! I can never wash that off now!!

The silver lining was, this has convinced me to do all of my holiday shopping ON-LINE this year.

So now I'm crossing my fingers for the Brave lightning deal (round 2) on Monday! And Prometheus is not bad at $10 on Amazon right now.

God, I REALLY wish I didn't venture out to Wal-Mart tonight. Ick!!

Not worth the time to go and fight the people. I bought Brave 3D ($16) and Prometheus 3D (I think it was under $16 also). I did use the Amazon coupons. There are many 3D movies right now on sale on Amazon $20 and under, last count 15 under $14.99. I bought 9 of them so far.

I'm sorry but is anyone really saving anything? You spend the time driving there (gas), you spend the time hoping you will fine what you are going there for (in most case you don't), you have to fight (sometimes) for a item, then your there and you spend more then what you wanted too. Let's not forget the line to checkout and if your lucky the price will scan right. If not, you will have to wait for a price check (Wal-mart add 40/60 mins). An......The people outside with cardboard signs that have the word "GOD" and Hungry in it. Oh the drive home. Just to save what $3/5.00 (we are talking about Blu-rays here so I gave that amount)if your lucky.

One other thing I did not put down but guess I should add it. A big item. UPS will bring it to my door sometime Monday/Tuesday. You put a $$$$ item in your car and you know in the back of your mind is it going to get rip off?

No one's bashing your purchase of Project X or the DNR'd-to-death Predator (or any other title in your seemingly-daily updates), so why take digs at anyone happy with Brave?

I like it. My GF is still making fun of me for ordering Green Lantern 3D. Now that is a really bad movie. If not for me having all of them. I would have passed.

Just saw Brave last night with the wife. LOVED it. Then again, I liked Cars 2 as well. The La Luna short was great as well.

Would have been worth it at full price, a steal for $9.

Yes. I purchased 2 copies of Brave and used the coupon. Picked up a couple of video games that were not on sale anywhere else. I spent a total of 20 minutes counting the time from when I left the house to arriving back home (3 miles round trip). I parked close (100 feet from the door), walked to electronics, picked up the items (no lines/crowd - much like a typical Saturday afternoon at this store), stopped to look through the Skylanders figures (picked up a couple of exclusive glow-in-the-dark variants), checked out (no line), back to the car and home. I could have looked through the other displays with no issue had I been so inclined. There were *no* protesters of any type. The longest time I spent in the store was waiting for the checker to figure out how to get the theft prevention device off the BR packages. To put in perspective I went about 6:30pm. I saved ~$40 on the games and whatever the savings on Brave is after paying ~$13 for 2 copies. In my book that's a "win".

I don't have any such link. Just the plain old "Add to cart" button.

Back when you could pre-order it there was a $8.00 off coupon. The price went down to $27.99, then before it ship it went down to $24.99. Those that had it ship on Tuesday (like me) got it for 16.99.
