Warehouse deals are notorious for "like new" products being brand new. Monsoon Wedding (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray] was around 8-9 around the holidays and some have reported getting Sound of Music UCE and Cars BD with car brand new and sealed, but it's always a crapshoot.

I'm still pissed about A Christmas Story. The deal went live after I had gotten off for the night and was sold out by the time I hit my computer in the morning. Such is life, I guess.

This is absolutely true. A couple of years ago I bought an iTouch from Warehouse Deals, USED-VERY GOOD, with supposedly cosmetic blemishes only. It was $200 less than the NEW price. When it arrived it was brand new in the original packaging. Like TAF says, it's a crapshoot, but one I'm willing to bet on more often than not.

I had to search to remind myself....and just got my shipping notice a few minutes ago, so I guess they decided for me. For those who missed, I wouldn't sweat it too much, pretty good chance it will be under $20 at some point during the Holidays (although 3D isn't always part of the good sales).

Re: Amazon Blu-ray Discounts and Deals Thread #27

Archer Complete Season 2 is $16.99 for the next hour and 20 minutes, however is 64% sold already. It is a lightning deal, so look in your goldbox.
S1 was the same price earlier, but I missed it. I coulda sworn S2 was a BB exclusive, but apparently the exclusivity has ended.
At 6:00pm PST, The League S1 will be a lightning deal, then at 8:00pm PST, The League S2 will be.

So apparently it's Fox TV day in the Gold Box. Arrested Development, plus four versions each of Archer and The League. I know a lot of people don't notice, but we do.

I pre-ordered the 2D Titanic for $19.99 back in April when they were offering the $3 credit. Mine has now shipped, but the credit hasn't shown up yet. Hopefully it will soon.

Anybody else have an order ship and the see the credit applied to their account already?

The last Warehouse Deals I got was Smallville 10 BD, shrinkwrapped but a little bashed in one corner. I was fine with it.

Re: Amazon Blu-ray Discounts and Deals Thread #27

Just wanted to update my earlier question regarding the Titanic $3 promo.

I received an email from amazon about the credit, and it is now in my account.

The credit doesn't appear as a gift card balance, but it shows up as available when you check out.

So for anyone who ordered when this promo was available, check your email if you haven't already as your credit may now be available, or will be available soon.

Has your copy of Titanic shipped? Mine hasn't. I'm not real happy about that, especially since I have Amazon Prime.

There might be a distribution center close to you. I have prime, too, and my blu preorders usually don't ship until Monday. They've always arrived on Tuesday, but I think because the distribution center is closeish, they can get away with not getting it on a truck until Monday.

I have Prime and this usually happens for me too, and I get the movies on Tuesday.

The official release date for Titanic is tomorrow, however, so I'm guessing that for release day delivery with Prime, it should probably have shipped already.

My thinking exactly. I wrote them after seeing that your copy has shipped and they confirmed that my order should have shipped as well. They did upgrade me to overnight shipping so I'll only receive this one day late and gave me $5 off a future order for the mistake, so I can't complain. Hopefully the $3 credit will go through without issues.

What was your order status? Mine hadn't shipped yet either, but it's in "shipping soon" status and I still expect it to ship today and be here tomorrow. I'm wondering if I should shoot them an email and try to get the $5 as well.

Mine was, and still is, in "Not Yet Shipped" status. :-( When I wrote, they stated that a technical malfunction caused mine to lose the "same day delivery" option. Apparently only some people get that (but I know mine had it when I ordered). Not sure why they treat some people differently than others on delivery speeds.

Amazon seems to have those problems lately. Did you have another order open around the same time? My last release day delivery items (for this past tuesday) got combined with another item I ordered around the same time and missed release date (by 5 days). I sent them an e-mail about it since I'm a prime member and even if it missed release date it shouldn't have taken that long. They used Smartpost for some reason.

Mine shipped as expected and will be here tomorrow. I'd rather it not get here and have a chance at a extra $5, but oh well.

By the way, does anyone know with the upcoming change in CA where they're charging tax, if I have a pre-order in before the 15th, will they charge tax when it ships after the 15th? I have a bunch of games pre-ordered but I'll prolly cancel them if they add tax to the order.

Must've been a price mistake. I checked this morning shortly after the post and it was 19.xx, now it's 22. Would've been nice though.
