The thing is that I wasn't a big fan of the film and would rather pay $5 than $9. Since they don't do price adjustments, I'll have to return it. Bother.

Agreed on the Batman thing, same thing happened to me, 1 minute of "waiting" even though I clicked in immediately.

Knocked Up widescreen DVD: 65% claimed
Knocked Up foolscreen DVD: 100% claimed

Maybe they had fewer copies of the FS?

I was tempted to get it at 8.99, but decided against it. Was psyched when I saw the price today. Now have all Tarantino movies on Blu. I think a marathon will happen this weekend.

Amazon's BF is getting kinda lame. I'm surprised more titles aren't on sale.

Well technically, Amazon's BF doesn't start for less than two hours. I'm sure there will be even more deals once the time comes.

That's odd, now Jackie Brown is back up to $8.99. Now I don't feel so bad. Sorta.

I have the collector's edition with both versions on DVD, so, while I wish it was included, it's not a deal breaker that it's not there. I actually still haven't watched the longer version but I have heard that a lot of people actually prefer the short version.

No loss. One of those rare occasions when the studio was right.

Thinking about Cars 2 on the lightning deal. This would be a blind buy. I understand the consensus is "weakest Pixar movie," but my kids would probably like it. Anybody think $16.99 is as cheap as it's likely to get anytime soon?

That's a third party price. It's showing because amazon themselves are out of stock. Still, their price went up so I'm glad I grabbed it yesterday for $4.99.

It isn't a bad price but after seeing it for $10 at Sam's Club, it is hard for me to want to pay that for it.

Hmmm. Well, I don't have a Sam's Club membership so that rules that out. I do have about $8 in Discover points I could apply, which would make the out of pocket cost negligible.

Transformers Dark of the Moon Lightning Deal changed from regular DVD to Blu overnight and for $9.99.

Gotta say amazon seems to be off to a slow start today. There were a lot more price drops yesterday morning. By this time Monday and Thursday, I'd already bought some stuff. Hopefully they drop some more prices later.

Yeah, I was holding off on buying some of the Blu-rays until today to see if anything new would be added. Not only wasn't anything added, but a lot of stuff has sold out/gone back to normal pricing...so I hurried and added some titles I wanted (like Green Lantern and Hanna) before they went back to normal pricing as well. I suggest everyone do the same...doesn't look like they're adding any more deals - other than the lightning deals yet to come.

I may have spoken too soon. Things are starting to drop now.

Jackie Brown now $3.99!

The Others and Trainspotting $4.99.

Dirty Harry double feature, Inglorious Basterds and Rain Main $7.99.

Exorcist digibook $10.99.

I had video on demand credit on my account, which I have no idea how and wouldn't use otherwise, so I rented Transformers 3 so I could get $5 off for buying Transformers 3 on BR/DVD for a total of $4.99. You may want to see if you have any credit to do that unless you didn't want a combo pack.

Almost picked up 'Trainspotting' the other day for $6.99, so for $4.99 it was a "no-brainer"

Almost bit on Jackie Brown yesterday for 4.99 and then thought the DVD was good enough. Another dollar off and I gave in. Also went for the Exorcist.

Nice price but just going to wait till the big set comes out later this year.
