I picked up GL for $23+... not as good as $20, but I'll take it.

Got the email notification and placed an order. Still cheaper than I could find anywhere else and no sales tax.

I realize it isn't an Overstock deal, but Best Buy has some decent prices for some 3D flix:
bestbuy . com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat257000050029&type=category
[sorry still can't post urls]
Choose between 7 Disney 3D titles, buy 2 get $10 off or buy 4 and get $40 off.

Great way to pick up the Toy Story Collection and get all the extra discs if you also wanted one of the other new 3D releases.

For $29.99 they also offer Chicken Little, Bolt, (I swear I saw last night Meet the Robinsons), G-Force, and Cars 2 (but it is still $39.99).

I think I'll get Bolt with the the 3 Toy Story movies. $19.99+tax and free shipping per movie if you buy 4. Even with tax slightly better than the $67 just for the 3D Toy Story set.

Best Buy also has the exclusive Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (both 1&2) in 3D for $22.99 as well. By purchasing part 2 you can also get $20 off the Harry Potter years 5-7 video game (starting at $29.99-49.99).

^Probably better suited for the Best Buy ad thread, but I appreciate the post nonetheless. Unfortunately, there aren't 4 titles on that list that I need. There are only 7 titles, so it appears the list is shrinking. And Cars 2 is too expensive now. I wonder if this deal was around on Saturday, when it was still $24.99...

I went with TS1-3 and Bolt. Already have all 4 of them. Missing "Meet The Robinsons", so I wish I could have gotten that instead of Bolt. My original Toy Stories are all sealed, so I guess I can regift them.

Greatly appreciate your post.

I had seen the ad and was going to pass on the deal, based on some faulty information.

Initially, I was going to reply how your calculations were incorrect ... as the Best Buy ad has the price of the Toy Story 3D movies as $39.99, but I decided to do some research first and noticed they are $29.99 on Best Buy's website.

I was not going to buy them at $39.99, but $29.99 is much more enticing ... making them $20 each after discounts.

Thanks again.

^^^ Regarding the BB "buy 4 out of 7 3D BDs and get them for $20 each" deal (well, except for Cars 2 which we should all have recently gotten from Amazon or Target coupon)...

I had seen this deal on SD a couple days ago, but there was very little discussion. I couldn't find any thread nor any mention about this in the weekly BB thread (which is only in the DVD forum rather than BD forum). So I guess we're discussing it here? [EDIT: I guess there's very little discussion]

As a Disney fan I already own and have opened every one of these 2D BDs on the list except for Chicken Little which I never got. The 2D version was supposed to be a membership anniversary gift (+ shipping) from DMR, but I never got any email and don't remember my anniversary date so that promo must've ended. Too bad these 7 3D BD (re)releases didn't have $5 off coupons like BATB 3D did.

QUESTIONS:
- Are these all precisely the same BD combo packs as I already own on 2D BD except they've added a 3D BD disc?
- Does anyone think we'll ever see these 3D BD sets for $15? I haven't been paying much attention to 3D BD releases.
- Have people been watching the prices of the 3D BDs sold by themselves on eBay and if so how much do they usually go for? If it's $10 or less for the 3D BD in a mailer, I might go that route.

Note: In store it's buy 4 out of the 8 3D BD's (Meet the Robinsons is in the print ad for the deal but not included in the deal on the Best Buy website)

... and I got my copy of Cars 2 from Overstock thanks to this thread. :)

I stupidly opened my TS3 already just to use the DMR code, but haven't even watched it yet. But I should be able to gift my TS1-2. I imported the 3D Bolt from the UK last year, so I don't need that one. Not sure if Chicken Little or Meet the Robinsons are worthy purchases or not, but those are likely the titles I'll get if I do this deal.

If you give the TS3 to the same person as the other 2, I'm sure they wouldn't mind. I know I wouldn't. ;)
