Apparently Best Buy has an exclusive on the Sid and Nancy BD until December. Amazon is taking pre-orders at 17.49 for a December 27th release but it's on the shelves at BB now. The sticker says 24.99 but it's ringing up at 14.99.

Picked up the last one at my BB on Friday. Can verify it's marked at $24.99 and rang up at $14.99.

I'll only be getting The Lion King this week, I already put my pre-order in for it.

Last week Amazon sent me a $8.00 off Coupon for Lion King. I try to used it and it would not work. I called them, seems they sent out a email with it and it should have read with another disc. My email did not. We are going to be watching it in a bit. $21.99 for the 3D ver.

So if I buy both the Lion King 3D combo and Beauty&Beast 3D combo, will Best Buy allow use of the two Disney $5 coupons and the BB $8 discount deal?

^ They should, but since this is BBY I'd say YMMV.

Re: Best Buy Media Prices (Oct. 2 - 5, 2011)

So I 'pre-ordered' TLK at Best Buy and got the Steelbook. That was before the TRU ad came out, so I was expecting to get it at Best Buy. Now I plan on getting it at TRU. Does anyone know how it works with getting my deposit back? I know the card in with the Steelbook says something about if you don't pick it up by 10/18, you can get your deposit refunded. Does that mean I have to wait until 10/18, or can I do it sooner?

You can do it sooner. I've done this before with Toy Story 3, etc. and was able to keep the SteelBook.

Purchased B&tB and Lion King 3d Bluray sets: received the $8 discount AND used the $5 Disney online coupons on each plus the $5 Subway on Lion King.

Total with tax for both was $40 and change (

Re: Best Buy Media Prices (Oct. 2 - 5, 2011)

Heads up!

I just bought Fast Five (BD) and 2 Fast 2 Furious (BD) and 2F2F rang up at the $5 DVD price instead of the $10 ad price. Might be worth checking to see if you can get the first four films for a mere $20.

Wal*Mart also has Pulp Fiction for $15. And Jackie Brown for $10. Picked up both from there on my lunch hour.

No problems at all getting TLK and BatB deal with coupons at Best Buy. I did have the transaction done at Customer Service since I had pre-ordered TLK for the steelbook ... but very smooth, no questions asked.

Re: Best Buy Media Prices (Oct. 2 - 5, 2011)

I couldn't find a Target Blu-Ray thread for this week nor a general Lion King one (they all seem to be TRU specific).

Anyway, did anyone notice that on the front of The African Cats BD at Target there was a $8 off coupon for buying TLK + African Cats? BB's African Cats did not have the coupon, and even if it did BB wouldn't have let me use that coupon with the $8 off combo in the system. Target wouldn't PM the $8 combo discount part of BB's ad either. So it was a pipe dream to think I could get the PM + $8 combo discount + $8 mfg. coupon + $5 Disney coupon. So a PM to Target now means matching the base price only but not matching any combo discounts. In the past Target usually did both for me.

There were several lunchboxes I went to yesterday. I didn't think those would be flying off the shelves. Then again, I didn't think there would be about 15-20 at the store either.
