I say wait for Amazon to PM Your Highness and Paul But go to BB to get that Super BR with the bonus DVD. Considering part of it is the panel at Emerald Comic Con actual superhero vigilante Phoenix Jonesshows up to converse with both Guns and Ranin Wilson makes it a must have.

If you have a Moviestop in your area, if you reserve Paul and Your Highness, they take $10 off, and they will automatically match BB's price, so both for $30.

Almost picked up 'Twister' yesterday from FYE for $9.99, so glad I held off on that.

Will pick up the Criterion blu ray of 'Dazed' at the end of October; and I can see 'Fast Times...' dropping pretty quick in price so will hold off on that

not sure if spending the extra money is worth the extra disc though. Amazon's BR price right now is $13.49

And walmart has it for even 49 cents cheaper at 13.00 dollars. But if you buy it from Amazon and something else that brings your total to 25 you get free shipping.

Man they're treating the release of Super like it was a blockbuster or something. Still... may get it.

I think I may be up for PAUL, YOUR HIGHNESS & SUPER. May wait on Amazon as well before purchase. And EXTRACT for $7.99 is a sweet deal...

Were Paul, and Your Highness any good? I remember wanting to see Paul at the theater, but never got around to it. For some background ... I loved Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz was okay, but not the same level as Shaun.

If you're a major sci-fi fan, you'll enjoy Paul. The movie has references to other movies/TV/books all over the place.

But its definitely catering to existing fans so YMMV.

I have a $5 reward certificate so I'll cancel my Amazon pre-order and pick up the BB-exclusive Super.

Re: Best Buy Ad 08/07 - 08/13/11

it looks like a lot of those $7.99 titles are already available online at that price.

They also have 'Stepbrothers' and '21' for $4.99 online as well as the usual cheap "monster" movies (MegaOctopus etc)

My local store has a round bin with quite a few of those 7.99 titles already in it along with several other titles. I noticed it earlier this week.

DILEMMA! I want to get Paul to go with my Edgar Wright movies (yes, I know he didn't do this one as he was busy with Scott Pilgrim) and I want to get the savings... but I'm almost COMPLETELY certain that Your Highness is stupid. Ugh.

Well, I guess I'll check out YH (rent...or something like that) and decide from there.

I can confirm Your Highness is incredibly stupid.

And I really like everyone involved in making it. The movie just fails epically.

I was in my favorite store (BB) Saturday night and they already had most of these $7.99 BDs in a circular bin. I didn't buy any because $7.99 is still too much for me to do most DVD to BD upgrades.

Thanks for the confirmation, I'm obviously not surprised.

I guess (apart from having seen a few trailers and short scenes from the film) the main thing that tipped me off is the fact that I don't remember hearing much about its theatrical release and then I heard nothing about it at all a few weeks later.

The only comedy film in recent memory that had a similar history was "Get Him to the Greek" but I finally sat down and watched that film and it was much, MUCH better than I would have thought.

Well, anyway, I think I'm going to bite on Paul (most likely sans Your Highness) because I just got my $5 birthday giftcard from BB... this could only be better if the $5 coupon was still up.

Your link is not the right one or Amazon moved the page or discontinued the offer already.

Link does not work but if you go to either the Paul or Your Highness listings you'll see the offer on the page and what other discs are part of it.

Couldn't pass it up.
