considering the complete series on dvd is $50 i cant see paying this much for it on blu, as i wasn't all that into the show. Stargate, however, is another story.

I think it's a pretty great price. 2hr movie = $20 or $30 or 88hrs of farscape for $125? It's one of the better prices for a full series, IMHO.

Consider me in, time to unload my Starburst DVD's.

The price isn't horrible but I'll have to see if there are additional bonus features and what the early reports say as to the quality. If this is the same features as the DVD set and SD upscaled, I'll pass and let my BD player do the upscaling.

Farscape was originally produced in PAL so the upscaling would be starting from a slightly higher resolution than NTSC so it should look better than a BD player upscale regardless.

Even though it's probably not much more than an upscale I'm still preordering it. I'm sure, if nothing else, it'll give me more shelf space and increase the life of my discs.

I wish I could unload my Starburst DVDs but several of the cases have broken hubs and I could never find replacements of the correct width. I'd love to save on the shelf space if the net upgrade cost wasn't too much.

However, I've been through the entire series twice so I don't know when I'll want to view it a third time.

As someone who is obsessed with getting "all" extras that ever were, i wish that the stuff from the starburst editions would end up on a Blu release. I know i have a better chance of meeting Elvis at the gas station.

Big fan and would seriously love to own this on blu but I'm not sure I can jump on this one.

If there is a substantial upgrade in the video dept or a bunch of new stuff (or things that have been on various releases brought all into one package) then I may bite otherwise I will stick with what I have.

I pre-ordered on the chance it has a big dip in the mean time and I wasn't paying attention. It's awhile off, so there's always time to cancel once more information is released.

I do know there is a new Farscape documentary as part of the Blu-Ray.

Though I'm surprised everyone is really going after it especially since they still can't add the Peacekeeper Wars finale movie to the set.

Then again, i'm sitll upset the Farscape comic is ending with issue #24.

I think I'll wait to hear what the conversion is like as I already have the DVD's...a plus would be if they could get the rights to Peacekeeper Wars to add.

PS - I'd rate Farscape and SG: Atlantis on about the same level, with SG-1 below both. Stargate Universe I'd rate way above all of them, and just a notch below Battlestar...

Yeah I saw the solicits. #24 says "Final Issue" on it.
