However, if you want all four of the movies and the two discs of special features, you're still better off ordering from Amazon.co.uk. And if you don't like the little ratings logos at the bottom of the UK version's cover, pay the full price for the US version... but otherwise they're exactly the same.

As someone who is thinking of buying all 4 of them. What are the features on the two other bonus disks from the UK set?

Except for the packaging, the UK discs are identical to the US discs.

It's cheaper to buy the Quadrilogy from a non-Amazon seller, about ~$45.

So is the US Quad packaging unless you enjoy your discs getting all scratched up everytime a plane flies over your house. Cardboard hubs used to hold discs is what I'd call "weaksauce".

ps - although I would agree with you with respect to the rating placard on the front. Every time I see a UK release it reminds me of once seeing a large unknown red mark on the back of Jenna Jameson's ass. It took me right out of the ball game.

So I bit and bought all 4 of them on Blu ray. It only cost me $49.96, with free shipping.

Thus it would be "ignorant" perhaps even stupid to buy the same thing for more money from the source you suggested.

Alien Anthology Blu-ray set: $32.85 (postage included) from Amazon UK. Also, like it was previously mentioned, the UK discs are Identical to the US version and it comes in a 6-disc HD Keepcase with Slipcase.

Everything found on the Alien Quadrilogy, Alien Legacy, Alien Legacy Limited Edition bonus disc (mail-away), Laserdisc sets, and some new exclusive to Blu-ray content. BTW, the Legacy bonus disc featured The Alien Saga documentary -- which was not available on the Quadrilogy set. Check out this link for a complete list of ALL the content.

For some reason it says my order hasn't shipped out yet. Are they waiting until the sales over to ship them out or what? I ordered them on Tuesday. But yet it said that it should arrive between the 18 and 22nd of this month.

Which case design are you speaking of? The old or the new UK packaging?
I wasn't a fan of the older one, but I like the new, thinner plastic case.

Amazon finally shipped my order. Like I said, why did they wait until the last day of the sale to ship the Blu rays? Especially when I ordered them on Tuesday and they finally shipped them out today. WTF up with that? What do they think i'm gonna cancel my order cause i might find another deal or what? That kinda urks me right there.

I ordered the Alien Anthology from Amazon.uk on 14 July, and it arrived in California today 18 July. I had ordered the Godfather Coppola Restoration on 12 July and it arrived today 18 July along with the Alien Anthology. I thought the Concorde had been cancelled. The Royal Mail Airmail is certainly not WEAK SAUCE. Thanks to all for the recommendation to go UK, and get it cheap and fast. I am a happy camper.
