Re: Lionsgate T2 Collector's set 48.95 shipped

I got my set last Friday and the head startled me a little bit -- I opened the box, pulled the top piece of cardboard off, and it was staring right at me!

Thanks again g!

Amazon UK has the Terminator Salvation skull for roughly $37.00 shipped if someone is trying to amass an army of plastic heads.

Is this the same quality as the U.S. version -- or better. Anybody know?

To me it looks like the same one that is on amazon.com, but I have no idea of the quality. I ordered one anyway as I figure it can go with my ape head and Sonny head.

Re: Lionsgate T2 Collector's set 48.95 shipped

I got mine for $37.37 USD.

Thanks Geoffrey, for helping me amass an army of plastic heads!

Spoiler:

I found a review that may help shed some light on the skull:

4.0 out of 5 stars top terminator, 3 May 2011

By D. MARTIN (market harborough UK) - See all my reviews

This review is from: Terminator Salvation Skull Box [Blu-ray] [2009][Region Free] (Blu-ray)

Saw this skull box terminator when it first came out it was £70.00 loved it then but not for that price, But £35.00 much better as for the blu ray quality of picture and sound very good and although its not up there with T2 story wise its still a very good action flick and will lead nicely on to T5 if that gets made. The quality of the terminator head is very good lots of detail but i really wanted the eyes to light up, two other things of note there is a case in the bottom of head which has enough spaces for all four terminator films ive put 1 and 3 [dvd] and 2 and 4 [blu-ray] in there. The other thing is that its large very large almost one for one scale the box it comes in is very big and amazons packageing was enormous all in all a really good buy if your into the TERMINATOR.

Is there something preventing you from clicking the link and trying it yourself? In the time it took to ask your question you could have already discovered the answer.

And the same amount of time it took you to be a jackass you could have answered my question.

I clicked on a link up there and saw something posted that wasn't as definative as I needed on the question I asked so I asked again to confirm.

I don't like you so there's little chance of me answering your question. Besides, you'd have to be lazy or stupid not to be able to find the answer in 2 minutes. There's no A in definitive.

Re: Lionsgate T2 Collector's set 48.95 shipped

Got an e-mail from Amazon UK that they refunded me for the Terminator Salvation head due to an undeliverable address. I had the Battle Royale set shipped here so I don't know what the problem was. I reordered and am going to give it another try.

Me too! Here's mine:

Hello,

We are writing to let you know that one of your packages has been returned to our fulfillment centre as undeliverable. Some common causes for undeliverable packages are listed here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/cust...odeId=13833761

When a package is returned to us for this reason and you haven't requested a replacement order, we return the item(s) to our inventory and issue a full refund (including delivery charges). We will send a refund confirmation to you separately.

We are unable to resend orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you still wish to receive these items, please return to our website to place a new order. If you need to change an existing delivery address for future orders, please update your address book via Your Account at:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/your-account

I say it smells a little like BRITISH BULLCORN if ya ask me because I've also had things delivered from them in the past. I reordered too, but this time used Treesa's work address in BH.

Only MORE time will tell.

(Like I didn't already have to wait long enough. )

Hey Geoffrey!

(...or to whom else it may concern...)

Did you recieve your English Terminator Salvation skull yet?

I ordered mine on the 28th.

My Amazon UK Tracking says:

29 Jun 2011 11:13:06 AM Ridgmont Bedfordshire UK Order has been handed over to the carrier and is in transit

In an email they sent says it shipped using DHL Global Mail.

On the DHL Global Mail website it says:

Dear Valued Customer: Please note that due to the recent labor issues in Canada there is extremely limited service. As a result, packages will experience delays. For further information, please visit our website at dhlglobalmail.com.

...and when I enter my tracking number, I get this:

No results for your search.

We wish to inform you that a number of packages may experience delayed or missing tracking information. Continue to check this tracking page for the latest update. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience this may cause.

FOR PETES-SAKES MAN!

I'm feeling like a bone junky...and I NEEDS MY SKULL!!!

I pity you if you have to deal with DHL global mail. They are incredibly slow and inefficient. I had an order from B&N.com take 14 days to get to me that was shipped through them. A lot of the time their tracking information is useless. Hopefully you get your package before the end of summer.

Did they give you a tracking number that also looks like a USPS number? You could try the number at the USPS site to see if it gives you any information. My DHL tracking number worked at either web site. However it didn't actually show up in the USPS system until they dropped it off at the post office.

Here's the USPS tracking page.

Got mine about a week ago (ordered on June 17 and dispatched on June 20). Big box, well packed and in perfect condition. Now sitting on the shelf next to the Lionsgate one. I love it!

Oh & BTW, thanks for responding too...GeoffreyL!

LM: You know I appreciate the info, and yes, I'm hip to the USPS thingamabobby, but there's still NOTHING from either.

(Being a Thread God (as it were), can't you pull some strings or something?)

rexinnih: Glad to hear you actually received yours (in one piece) and are loving it. That's encouraging.

Hey! Did yours ship DHL Global Mail or did they use their 'Royal Mail' with all that pomp & circumstance?
