Also I checked and I couldn't find lower prices on the other DVD titles, also they are for the most part odd titles that are rarely clearanced.

Anyone own Star Trek the Original series on Blu Ray?

They would be $148.03 at DD with the sale and that is the cheapest I have ever seen.

I own the DVD's of the series and love the old stretch look. Does the Blu Ray set have the "black bars"?

I ordered a bunch of blu-ray upgrades, so since it's titles I already have I'm willing to wait if necessary. That and even though their upcoming Star Wars set normal price is ridiculous, the discount works on it even though it is a pre-order which made it a reasonable deal. Also something I learned was to get in early on these sales as it seems to make a big difference in how fast your order gets out. I got shipping notices on a couple items the next day, and then everything but the pre-order a day after that.

I decided to go with the Barnes & Noble Buy 2 Get 1 for "Priscilla", "Hair" and "The Long Riders". With the 15% off one coupon and cashback on the B&N MC, it turned out just about the same price, but I'm a little more confident in timely shipping with B&N.

I agree the Deep Discount has had erratic behavior, but my orders are shipping and some of the prices are good. Already received Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Psycho, Manchurian Candidate and Houdini. I wouldn't count them out completely.

I was thinking about placing an order now because I saw you can stack another code on top for an additional 25% (DEALCATCHER25) but you have to put 3 movies in your cart. But then you can remove unwanted movies. Anyways, with lotr extended and star wars saga the total would be $127.04 shipped. I never placed an order with 2 separate preorder, so my question is will DD ship LOTR on its release date and charge just for that movie and then ship star wars in sept and then charge for that one? Seems like a good price for both.

When i added the coupon it does not show the prices of each as being reduced. But if you look at the total at the bottom, it should show in the "promotional discount" box.

Add Star Wars Complete Saga, Lord of the Rings Extended Set and Harry Potter Years 1-6 Blu-rays to your cart. That should trigger the coupon(it did for me). I'm sitting here, debating on whether or not to place an order with the DEALCATCHER25 stacked coupon, including the Star Wars Complete Saga BD set. I definitely don't want the order canceled because DD has the best prices on four things I want--plus a Canadian Blu-ray that's less expensive via DD.
