Same thing happened to me. After the 3rd try I just copy/pasted the code and it worked. I assumed it was just a coincidence.

I believe the code has to be entered in all caps as I'e seen them fail when entered in lowercase.

Also it won't show as working if you have ineligible titles in the cart, it doesn't work on everything, mostly tv and boxsets don't work, just about everything else does.

sorry if this has been answered, but what type of packaging do these come in? and how is the condition of the discs?

If they are preowned they typically come in dvd cases with original artwork as they were ex rentals. If they are used they tend to come in original cases with everything they came with including the dc if it had one, whether it works or not is usually a crapshoot.

Usually the blus are in good shape and come in their original packaging in a padded envelope but every now and then a rental copy does ship. I'm still waiting on a few from last weeks sale.

A lot of people bitch about their inventory system not always being up to date (valid complaint) and occasionally getting an incorrect title.

I've probably ordered over 100 titles from Gohastings. I've had one blu ray where I considered the packaging to be unacceptable (writing all over the case and disc). I've had 2 non retail copies (Talladega Nights PS3 version and Taken rental edition). At the same time, I ordered the theatrical Avatar Blu and got the 3 disc extended version instead. The prices are almost always the best you will find and to me, it's worth the occasional slip up.

Bubble mailer. I haven't had much issue with shipping, unless it's a really large order where they load up one of those big envelopes and stuff can tumble around.

It's not simply NOT up to date, it's just plain retarded. Person X can place an order at 10 AM PST, and Person Y at 11 AM PST. However, the next day Person X gets his order canceled and person Y gets it fulfilled. I've had confirmation of this numerous times during their sales. It's a crap shoot. As for incorrect titles, I got SIX incorrect titles out of 13 shipped items in the last sale alone. The only time it DOESN'T happen is when there's no chance.

This is just plain lucky. I've probably ordered a hundred or more 100 titles and had to ship back at least 30-45. I shipped back 6 in the last sale, out of 14, due to mistakes..

I said complaints about the inventory system ARE VALID. I've had tons of titles canceled on me but I still order from them because they are the cheapest around.

I don't know what to say about you getting so many incorrect titles. If I had to ship back 30-45% of my orders, I wouldn't buy from them anymore. Hopefully you're not either, that just makes it more likely for my orders to go through.
