Damn, been waiting on this too but I'm out of town and don't really want it sitting at my door for a week.

I'll keep waiting. Good deal, but I can't stomach paying this much, after getting season 1 from Amazon for $10 during Black Friday sales.

I'm holding out for $20, though after the $10 BF deal, I'm tempted to wait longer. I'm also waiting for a break on Hottie Terminator S2. Make it happen!

Good deal, though I already picked this up from Ultimate Electronics during their liquidation for $17.20 or so. (60% off of $42.95).

I assume you're referring to The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Summer rather than Lena. While I'm too lazy to check if it's still going on now, they have been $14.99 each on Warner's DVD2BLU.com with a trade-in of "any" DVD. If you get both seasons or other stuff to go over $35, the shipping was free. Or maybe you are waiting for a better price than that? For me I was OK with $14.99 each + tax. I finished both seasons, and as usual, was mad that the network canceled the series once I got really interested and was surprised what happened with "Ms. Weaver".

I forgot I never picked up season 2 so I guess it's not urgent for me. Will still look to get it sometime.

Yes, and yes. Not that Lena isn't attractive, but she's not a Terminator.

It appears the deal is still on, but I'm confused: You can trade ANY DVD in, not just the DVD version of what you're turning Blu? I could trade in some crappy horror movie I got for 50 cents while looting a closing Hollywood Video for this (how many discs for TV sets? Edit: FAQ sez 1 DVD per set.) and not have to surrender a DVD copy of the TV set? Really? Wow, that'd be sweet.

Question to others who ordered this...

I ordered this and when it arrived, there was a plastic rattling sound inside the case so I wrote to Amazon who issued a replacement. That one also arrived with a plastic ratting sound so I tried again (third times the charm, right?) The third one ALSO has a plastic rattling sound!

Is everyone else who ordered receiving busted cases or is there something inside that rattles like that? It really REALLY sounds like busted pins that hold the discs in plact to me.

You're rejecting multiple sets without opening them because something's rattling, perhaps a loose disc that just needs to be pressed down?!? Wow. It's not like they're damaged and Amazon is sending replacements? Yeesh.

Something's loose... but I don't think it's in the case.

I've never understood people that sent "loose" discs back. 99% of the time, they're fine - and with Blu-ray's scratch resistant coating, there's probably a 99.9% chance that the discs will play fine. Now if you're sending something back because one of your disc-holders might have a piece of plastic cracked or broken off, I can't help you.

More than likely it's a brochure or sheet moving around

You, sir, are nothing more than an internet troll. You had no advice yet felt a need to flame with no incentive to do so at all except to show your maturity level. Please let your dad have his computer back now.

To the two people who just replied: this clearly sounds like plastic, not paper, but I do appreciate the intelligent replies. It sounds like there's nothing plastic in there except the pins that hold the discs in place and that's what I'm trying to avoid being broken.

All I ever requested was a reply from somone else who purchased the set that knew more than I did about its contents. I didn't want to open the set when something is clearly not right in case Amazon had the ability to resell the set to someone else who doesn't care about broken pins.

Re: Dollhouse: Season 2 - $22.49 @ Amazon

Okay, as it turns out, in each case the spine clips were broken. Apparently there's either a quality issue on Amazon's part (maybe a case of these discs fell off a high shelf) or the fact that they like to ship in bubble envelopes created a problem due to a flaw in the design of the case.

Regardless, be aware if you hear a rattling sound in the case.

See, was opening a case to see what the actual problem was that hard? Your posts resorting to multiple insults about something so stupid just comes off as sad and overly defensive about something you could have just easily avoided if you opened the case first before making Amazon send you multiple copies.

This happened to my set, too. I'm debating requesting a replacement but I may just spent a dollar on a new case since the discs themselves seem to be fine.

Multiple insults? Who attacked who first, again? I asked an intelligent question, may have helped someone along the way with a similar issue, and tried to save Amazon money.

What good did any of your postings do again?
