Why not just run over to the local target and look on the shelf?

My target had a bunch of them last week and it was on sale for $25.

Probably because it's easier and cheaper to ask here first?

I haven't seen it at 3 local Targets so I am assuming it was a limited. So very YMMV

Since there are thousands of Targets...how are we supposed to know if your store carries it? Perhaps you should drive over there and look.

What did they say when you called your local store(s)?

Re: Target still carry the exclusive packaging of Black Swan ?

I saw them at two different Target stores last week.

As far as I know, it is a limited run and they probably haven't made any more since the initial printing, but stores that haven't sold out will still have them stock until it's depleted.

You would honestly expect a Target (or any other retail store for that matter) employee to be able to answer this question reliably? They MIGHT take the time to check and see if Black Swan is actually in stock, but I doubt very seriously if they will even know what he is talking about when it comes to exclusive packaging.

So he needs to get in his car and drive there. How are we supposed to help him?

It's not like Target sold these for 3 weeks and took the overstock and sent them to space.

If he described it to them, yes, I think they could handle it most of the time.

He'd get closer to an actual answer compared with asking the internet to use their psychic powers to first figure out what stores are close to him and then magic up an answer for him.

TAC, I just got back from a Target and they still had it so they are still out there. I actually bought a copy too since they had it on sale for $17.99.

You mean clear? CC's cases are typically thicker, right?

Re: Target still carry the exclusive packaging of Black Swan ?

Sorry about the multiple posts, I was having smart phone issues.
And I love how you chastise the op for making a post to get an idea if copies of a limited edition dvd are still floating around yet you have no problem making useless posts.

Err you mean me joking about your 4 post thing? That was a joke. This thread is useless since Black Swan Target Edition was a LE and the OP could solve all of this by going to his own store. I don't even know why this thread is still even open.

He asked if it was a limited run so obviously he didn't know the answer. I'm not sure why he's being attacked for a legitimate question.

It's no longer listed on Target.com, so yes, it appears this was Limited and is now gone (just like the sticker says' Target Limited Edition'). Again, a trip to the OPs Target would provide that information to him if it was not in-stock. How are we supposed to know if Target 'still carries it' for one member?

Of course, this thread is not a Bargain, which is what needs to be posted. What if everyone decided to start new threads "does best buy still carry akira?". I reported the thread so hopefully a Mod closes it.
