Free Worldwide Shipping, Eureka!

Specifically topical for blu-ray bargain forum:

Many of these are region free. I'd check with dvdbeaver or another site about which ones are before you order.

I ordered City Girl and Une femme mariée, which are both supposedly region free, as is Sunrise.

Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter, Profound Desires of the Gods, Paranoiac, and Fantastic Planet (La Planete Sauvage) are supposedly region B. The others I didn't check.

METROPOLIS is also locked Region B.:(

I went for SUNRISE, which came out to be $21.64 Shipped. A very good price for what is considered one of the greatest Blu Ray discs ever produced.

Thanks for posting this great deal, Ronald!

They actually dropped the prices of some of the Blu-rays this time. Woohoo!

Soul Power is region free as well, FYI

Wow, some nice prices and free shipping. Can't pass this one up. I went ahead and got Black Shield and Wizards. $31.62 with conversion rate for both. Good stuff.

Want PRINCE VALIANT and BLACK SHIELD, but can't bite at $18 each for bare bones versions. I mean, not even a trailer? Humbug.

City Girl is another disc worth getting - not only is the film an absolute masterpiece, but the transfer is superb and a typically detailed Kalat commentary is also included.

Did anybody get a shipping notice? I don't expect these until probably sometime next week I figure, but just curious.

Seeing conflicting things about the region coding for Paranoiac. Can anyone give a hard confirmation or denial as to whether it's playable in Region-A machines?

I placed on with them last month and my items arrived in a decent amount of time but I never did receive a shipping notice.

Confirmed by Peerpee (Nick from MoC) as region-free in post #6 of this thread from the Criterion Forum:

I don't know why Cash Flagg 'believes' it's Region B, but it's not.
As far as other sale titles go, those Pialat releases are must-owns for any fans of Cassavetes' style of cinema. Humanities and Paper Balloons and L'Argent are wonderful films as well.

I ended up ordering it as well. I'm more into the Hammer horror films than the thriller titles, but the reviews have all been quite positive, and for $15.23 shipped I couldn't pass it up.

Add Oliver Reed in there somewhere and you've got my train of thought.

I agree with you. Wish I could afford it, but money is scarce these days and SUNRISE had to take precedence. But you are right, it's definitely a title to get during this fantastic sale as I have doubts Fox will ever venture this deep into their catalog for Blu.

He's wonderfully menacing in Losey's These are the Damned. I'd love to see an Eureka Blu-ray release of that.

Fast turnaround time! Only a week after I ordered it and already here in pristine condition. Secure packing and very fast shipping. But I wonder why they don't put any return address on the package? What would happen if it couldn't be delivered?

NoirFan, you will be happy and/or couldn't care less to hear that I followed your advice and picked up CITY GIRL. I figured for $16 shipped it was definitely worth it.

I don't think I will ever order from eureka again. They don't even seal their packages. The end was open on one package. The other package had rubber bands around it to keep the ends from opening. Took 12 days to get here. I ordered 13 BDs. They sent 2 copies of one title and 6 BDs are missing. Sent an e-mail to customer service this morning. Haven't heard back from them yet.

Odd. I've only ordered single discs here and there, and they've always arrived promptly (a week and a half ain't too shabby from the UK) and in fine condition.

Ya, I don't have a problem waiting 12 days. I just hope there is another package or 2 coming with the rest of my BDs. If customer service doesn't get back to me in the next 2 days I am filing a paypal dispute.

their customer service is usually pretty good so I wouldnt worry yet.
