I take it Disney's not putting out a coupon for Narnia?

It was my understanding that this most recent movie wasn't made by Disney.

^ That certainly would explain why Disney isn't issuing a coupon for it.

Yep, 20th Century Fox co-financed and distributed it. There will be a fourth one, although it's unknown if Fox will be involved. (Sadly, that news was announced in an obituary when an executive producer for the film series died two months ago.)

Is the single disc Harry Potter only available at Amazon or is it retail too?

Think I might be fine with the deleted scenes and 1 feature. Don't need the first couple minutes of the next film since I will eventually see them when I view the whole thing.

Looks like there will be a $10 coupon for the Incredibles. Coupon is not live yet: http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com...dibles-upgrade

If you guys thought Mr Smearkase was being serious, you need to invest in a sense of humor.

Walmart had the single disc blu-ray for $15, but their ad showed the combo pack. If you went into Wal-mart, the combo pack rang up $25 (or something like that). But a lot of people went to Target (or elsewhere) and pricematched it. Since Target had the $5 of any blu-ray coupon, most went there (including myself) and price matched the combo for $15 using the Walmart ad, then used the $5 coupon getting it for $10!

BTW, Best Buy will have the single disc blu-ray for $16.99, in case anyone was wondering about that.

Re: Target ad for 4/10 - 4/16, 2011

Though BB has the better deal, anyone who knows me knows my BB doesn't take DMR coupons (unless they are specifically mentioned in the ad I was told or unless they have changed managers recently).

So my plan is Target first with an attempt to pricematch BB's deal (definitely YMMV). If not then I'll buy them at their normal deal with the 2 DMR coupons and hoping to use 2 $5 Bunny coupons. Then based on what happens I'll see if I have to go to another Target or BB. I know I can't wait to go to Target until after BB opens because my Targets will all be out of stock. Oh how I hate never knowing what's going to happen. The only good thing is these stores are all right off the freeway on my commute path to work... 3 Targets and 2 BBs.

I haven't tried to do a PM + double coupons on anything at Target for a long time. I know I've been successful doing that as well as denied. I think the most likely scenario is being told I can PM BB's deal and use the DMR coupons but not the $5 Bunny coupons. That might be good enough for me.

I know we'll have others posting they successfully PM'd the BB deal and used both DMR coupons and 2 $5 Bunny coupons. Will Sotra be one of them? :-) Tune in next Tuesday for the results of our weekly saga... the "what deal did you get at Target on this week's latest Disney BDs?" thread.

I'm glad I'm not a HP fan, I'd be flat broke!

Re: Target ad for 4/10 - 4/16, 2011

I expect Target will at least PM the $24.99 prices and let me use the DMR coupons and Target ones. Getting the $10 off BBy deal for a total of $11.98 for both might be difficult though. I'll try though
I think I'll have a better chance buying them first with the coupons and then go over to customer service to get $4 or $14 off for the PM. I'll see on Wednesday when I'm by a Target.

The single disc HP 7.1 is being advertised by BB and is available at Walmart.com, so it is a general retail offering.

My guess is that Target is advertising just the BD/DVD/DC version because the margins are better on that one.

Re: Target ad for 4/10 - 4/16, 2011

I recently just started watching the Harry Potter movies. We've gone to visit a friend, made dinner and begun watching the movies with her (she's a longtime fan). $12.99 apiece for the Blu/DVD/DC combo packs is awfully tempting. Too broke to buy them this week (though I might be able to find a spare $13 to justify buying one of them), but I'd love to see this be a pricing scheme in place for a while on those.

EDIT: Just got around to the $10 coupon for The Incredibles and I have a Meijer in the area so I can PM their $22.99 price and get that release for the same $12.99 I previously suggested I would try to scrounge up for a Harry Potter movie. The wizard can wait.

Re: Target ad for 4/10 - 4/16, 2011

I had no problem pricematching BB's $9.99 for any Harry Potter blu-ray at Target.

I got all six of the Potter BR/DVD/DC packs for $9.99 each.
