WB insider rewards

Re: WB insider rewards
I think I figured the random math... based on everyone's count..
500+ = 1 Freebie
Divide the remainder by 1500 rounding down to nearest number = additional freebies
using my points (despite my recollection of more) for example.
4944-500 = 1 Freebie
4444/1500 = 2.96 rounding down = 2 Freebies
Total 3 Freebies.. if only I had entered 6 more points... ugh...

I was thinking the same thing.. but I also wonder if they will begin to drop titles as well
if you get some things now and find other titles later you would have wanted instead.. that would suck
if you wait in hopes for other titles to appear... and then the titles you actually would have wanted disappear.. that would suck..
selection isn't that good either... so pull the trigger whenever you find the appropriate amount of titles you would actually grab... and then don't look back ...
then again.. you could just get some titles.. and then flip them for Amazon credit..

Re: WB insider rewards
I ended with 1515 points and picked Shawshank Redemption on Blu.
Was a little nervous about the site going wonky on me and messing it up, but it worked fine. Note: you have to put in a CC # to place the order even though the toal is $0.00.

10 hours later, and my email code STILL doesn't work. I've tried Firefox, Safari and Chrome. Very frustrating. I'm trying to buy Dumb and Dumber, which is not only one of the eligible titles, but clearly not a high demand one.

Did anyone else notice that there were actually 3 coupons applied to the order... I wonder if it is one for each title (basically spreading our coupon code out to the amount) or if it is actually the coupon code + 2 others to somehow make it work..
This is what was shown on my order (my code xxxx'd out)
Coupon Code:WB_EMPLOYEE_WBSHOP
Coupon Code:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Coupon Code:INSIDERREWARDS

I'm curious, did you first input your credit card info and then apply the coupon code? Or, did you first apply the coupon code to make sure of the discount before entering your CC info?

I got The Treasure of the Sierra Madre for my ~700 points. I'm not complaining.

At the time, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre was one of the best movies on there. Then it all went to crap.

I got into the program literally right before the site crashed. I never had a chance to redeem anything so I think getting a free movie isn't too bad. I had 900 points for those who are keeping track.
I'm debating between two titles. Wizard of Oz blu and Ganges blu. I have the ultimate collector's edition with all the bell's and whistles but in DVD. It might be nice to get the blu of this as I wouldn't need the extras but it might be nice to have the high def version to have with the collection. I"m also looking at the Ganges as it looks interesting, but I've never watched it. Can anyone recommend one over the other?

I should have taken a screenshot, but they were most certainly on the first list I saw because I wrote down the titles that interested me. I feel somewhat ungrateful for complaining about the list of freebies, but these are clearly the low-selling overstock that's been gathering dust on their warehouse shelves. Still, free is free, and it was decent of WB to give us one last chance to use our points on something.

Re: WB insider rewards
I had 1680 points and haven't received the email with a code yet. That's probably good for only one title, but it's possibly close to two. I wonder if they would let you apply points and pay the cash difference for the second title. Probably not, but if I have to contact them about getting my code again I may ask.

Slim pickings...but I picked up Clash of The Titans (original) Blu-Ray
Code worked; no problems.

Re: WB insider rewards
As was mentioned earlier, the formula appears to be 500-1999 = 1 free, 2000-3499 = 2 free, 3500-4999 = 3 free, etc. Basically 1500 point for each free item except the last free one requires only 500 points.

Re: WB insider rewards
I went through the whole list of eligible titles as they were winding the program down and input the codes and bumped from around 15xx IIRC to 2852 which gets me two titles. I'm probably going to get Treasure of the Sierra Madre (never seen it) and The Green Mile (don't have it on any format though I think it's an overlong film - Darabont crams two hours of movie into three hours of run time). If I don't get the latter, perhaps The Shawshank Redemption.

Re: WB insider rewards
Don't know about Caleb, but I applied the coupon code first, which reset the total to $0.00. When I tried to go to the next page/step, it blocked me, saying that I needed to enter a method of payment. So I put in my credit card number and security code, and the system processed my order, which was still at $0.00...
