Re: WB insider rewards
Yep. I had saved up 4200 points honestly and slowly...and now mine says 500 points too. Awesome. I guess I should've spent them before this mess. I might as well stick with my Disney Rewards and hope that someone doesn't do something to screw up my 9000+ points there.

Re: WB insider rewards
This is the first case where honest customers of a company are hurt by the swindlers. Your honest points may have paid for their "haul." If WB doesn't reconsider this.

Re: WB insider rewards
Remember that this program is probably run and administered by a company that is not WB. The program has never been run that well and this decision by them to cut everyone's points down to 500 feels like a PR disaster in the making. It's not honest customers' fault the site was so poorly programmed that a glitch enabled people on SlickDeals to abuse it.

Sounds like a glitch to me. My two accounts also say 500, but I only had 100 in em. If everyone's say exactly 500, there must be a glitch.

Re: WB insider rewards
People on blu-ray.com are reporting getting their points back minus about 500. Even the moron who did the scam for almost 100 movies.

Re: WB insider rewards
I probably should've signed up a little while ago and then my 0 points would've gone to 500. I keep procrastinating signing up in part because I don't fully understand the Inside Rewards. I thought people said it was to get a small amount of points on movies with digital copies if you enter the codes before they expire (which I didn't do). Then people said the web page wasn't working for a long time, so I thought why bother.

They aren't ADDING points to people under 500, they are TAKING AWAY points for people over 500 and making them 500

Re: WB insider rewards
I have two accounts. One had 759 points, and the other had 36. As of today, the first account has 500 points (-259) and the other still has 36. So, Insider Rewards is clearly not adding points to all accounts under 500 points.
For people who did not take advantage of the glitch to be penalized is nonsense. While WB retains the right to do what they like with their rewards program, in the interest of fairness they ought to reinstate points for folks who behaved themselves.
I got a couple of items, so I have no squawks about losing points. Besides, it's impossible to redeem points now so the whole matter is moot until the rewards program comes back online.

I can't wait to apply my points to worthless merchandise. Anyone wanna trade my insta-lick tattoo of Harry Potter for a plastic Batman pin?

Re: WB insider rewards
I think I may know why my points went up, but no one else's did. I did have 100 points the last I looked (7-10 days ago), however I had redeemed 1500 points for which I never received a code, and I had contacted them about it. They never responded. But it is possible they added the 1500 points back into my account, and then lowered it to 500 like everybody else.

Re: WB insider rewards
If you feel that your points were lowered to 500 unfairly, then call 1-866-373-4389, Monday-Friday 8:00 am 8:00 pm EST or Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST and complain about it. They will more than likely restore your points if after they look at your account that they find that you didn't take advantage of the site's "glitch" in any shape or form. However, if you DID take advantage of the site's "glitch" even once, well, I don't know what will happen, but I doubt it if you get your points back.

Will they know how many points we had? I know I had more than 500, but I'm not exactly sure how much (and for the record, I hit the survey link maybe 2 or 3 times, so it was more than once, but not near the abuse that others did).

Re: WB insider rewards
I wrote WB an email and they reinstated my points back to the proper level. It took them a while to get around to it, but at least its done.

Not too long after my last post about not receiving any response.. I got the templated reply... Hopefully, they will credit me back my points like others have reported..

Re: WB insider rewards
I didn't contact anyone and mine are now restored back to what they should have been. I didn't abuse whatever it was that caused all this, FWIW.

Re: WB insider rewards
I got all mine back.. and maybe even some additional... I really don't remember what my total was... but it seems they gave me my original amount back on top of the 500... interesting.. now if they just open back up the points store... I might feel like I need to use them before I lose them...
