Man of Violence was enjoyably trashy, and includes a second feature. I quite liked All the Right Noises, and Permissive was a bleak but interesting time capsule. I haven't seen Privilege yet, but it seems to be the best-reviewed film among the Flipside releases, so that might be your safest bet.

Man of Violence and The Bed Sitting Room I have on order. I was hoping that the trashier films would go on sale, like London in the Raw et al... I might try Privilege and All the Right Noises.

Re: BFI Blu-rays £6.95
I picked up the BFI version of Salo, along with the Green Zone Steelbook from Blah DVD as part of their 2 Blus for 15 deal. I placed the order on Sunday, and it already shipped yesterday. I just checked the bank, and the total charge for the 2 was $28.52.... so $14.26 each. Best deal I found for them. Thanks for the info about these sites and the deals.

And yes, the Insignia ns-brdvd4 player has been working great with everything I've thrown into it (just must remember not to update it any further).

According to the website and my email confirmation, zavvi.com is giving me free shipping to the US, and the code FIVEROFF50 is taking 5 pounds off my order. Unfortunately, my credit card company declined the charge, suspecting fraud, although I believe that my only prior purchases on that card were from Hong Kong and England. I've tried the same order again, hopefully it will go through this time.

Thanks to manicsounds for starting this thread and thanks to Jon Hertzberg to pointing out the free shipping at thehut.com. I ordered Comrades, Magick Lantern Cycle, and iWinstanley last Tuesday. Comrades and the Anger set already arrived, and I'm expecting Winstanley any day now.

I received The Bill Douglas Trilogy and Winstanley yesterday (11 days from order-very good) from dvd.co.uk and ordered The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner from them, which was a bit cheaper than zavvi.com even with the shipping charge. Most of my order with zavvi.com has shipped, so apparently the problem with my credit card company is straightened out.

Re: BFI Blu-rays £6.95
BFI has announced that these titles are being repressed as Blu-ray/DVD dual combos, so they are selling these on the cheap until stock runs out. Most of the discs will be the same, some will be repressed differently, but all the extras should remain. (although some titles' HD extras will be downgraded to SD)
Some titles are already out of stock in many places.
