$13 for the Red BD? Hmmmm... What's on the Deluxe BD that the regular BD doesn't have?

shit, $13 for RED even if it's just the movie isn't a bad deal. considering that buying it sight-unseen.

According to the trade ad posted here, the special edition has a commentary, deleted/extended scenes, and one of those PiP features. The regular edition is "movie only." The difference in SRP between the two is only $4.50, but the difference in sale price is $9.99. This is all pointless for me, as no Target in my area will have both versions to choose from.

Damn, I usually loves special features, but are they really worth $10 more? Tough call... I could just hold out and wait for the eventual price drop on the SE...

Yeah, I'm not falling for another Glee Vol. 1... waiting for the complete season later this year.

Ahh, for that much I'll take Mrs.Beebs to see it in the theater pub, get two beers and a large popcorn. :)

Hmmm....definitely planning on getting Dead Space 2, but waiting to see if any gift card deals or whatnot pop up.

Thanks for the ad! RED for 13 is tempting.

I guess I'll have to read reviews on Red to see if it's worth a blind buy at $13. I still don't like going over $10, but if it has good reviews I might.

Dead Space 2 is the first new release, full price game I've ever been tempted to buy since the first one (which I got for $10) is my all-time favorite game. However, I know my OCD will drive me nuts if I pay $60 for it now because it'll be $20 or less in a year. Which will bother me more... waiting a year to play it or losing $40? Dunno. If there were some good deals on it, it would be a different story...

For those who haven't seen the movie "Red". It is definitely worth a blind buy especially at $13. I saw it in the theater and was very surprised how much I liked it. Great action scenes and humor.

Red comes in regular and SE Blu-ray. There is no Deluxe. The picture clearly shows the SE. Could we claim the SE for $13.00?

Loved Red. I'd like to buy it for $13.99, but not if it's missing features. I'll just get it at BB for $17.99 and enjoy those supplements.

Going to get the target ad and go to BB and try to get the SE blu for $13... they usually dont check and fall for it. :)

Amazon will likely match the $13 Blu-ray price for Red. If they choose to match Target, I will consider blind buying it.

You're assuming that the $17.99 one at BB is the Special Edition... The consensus at blu-ray.com is that it is the standard BD. BB.com currently shows the regular BD at 17.99, and the SE at 29.99...

BTW, they have a review of the SE up already:

You know what, it just might work. The picture shows the SE of the DVD. It doesn't picture the BD at all. And since it says DELUXE version is 22.99, you can easily say that is different. Seeing as the picture says "Special Edition", it truly could work...

I really wonder who will bite on this since they've shown that they WILL release full seasons later. Probably people with money to burn.

or people who want to catch up on the season before it starts back again next month. Some people do that instead of trying to find the episodes on the internet.

Does Target ever seem to run those Bravo exclusives on sale? The Top Chef seasons are mainly what I'm looking for but I've never caught them for anything less than whats listed.
