According to a BN employee (so take it with a grain of salt), they found some of the OOP criterions at the "warehouse". So it probably is worth a shot. He specifically mentioned Alphaville and A Woman is a Woman.

My ship date just got moved to Feb. 2nd, so it looks like this one isn't going to happen. I've been so frustrated with Barnes and Noble over the past few months (let my membership lapse) and this is further reason why.

For the record, I could only find A Woman is a Woman through a Google search and it still shows 3-5 weeks, so I'm guessing that one isn't in stock either...which I'm certainly bummed about.

I'm well aware that quoting myself could bring down the internet, but I thought those interested might like to know that Pierrot Le Fou on BD shipped yesterday for me (apparently the other two films, which are non-Criterions, are holding up the rest of the order).

Glad to see that B&N didn't hold up an OOP disc for two in-print, out-of-stock discs. I rescind my earlier comments (but I'm still not renewing).

I placed 2 orders in the last 7 days-12th and the 14th- and today I received Delay notices for every item I ordered. The orders included Pierrot Le Fou and other Criterions, non-Criterion BDs, and CDs. Disappointing but ok as long as I get everything I ordered.
