Re: $5.00 coupon for Dances With Wolves BD
Got lucky and got the cashier at BB to give me DWW for $15.99 based on the fry's ad from sunday w/ no price listed but showing $15.99 next to it with some other Dvd. -$5 coupon it was only $10.99!

MY local (Pearl City) Walmart also had it for $18. But the coupon would not work. They tried to scan it and got a error and some little machine off to the side spit out some small paper with the error code. The sales clerk tried 3 times. Then he tried to enter the UPC manually and it did not work. So I gave up and picked up The Social Network on BD for $16.96 + tax. That was the first & last time I try this at Walmart.

The same thing happened to me at the Keeaumoku Walmart early this morning. The cashier futzed w/ the various barcodes on the fixed scanner and the handheld before calling the store manager. The entire transaction took about 5 minutes. The tranny next in line just wanted to buy a pack of smokes and was none too happy...

It's a pain in the ass for the employee as they are just doing their job. It should have been coded into the Wally World system by someone along the way.

The lady in the electronics area at Walmart would not take my coupon, I told her "Just give me my coupon, I will go to the front of the store and check out!" they took it there, no prob. $13+tx

Ultimate Electronics (if there is one near you) will have the blu-ray for $15.95 (sans coupon). I'm not sure if they will accept the internet coupon, though. I went there once last year and was told that UE doesn't accept manufacturer or internet coupons. Total BS, but took my business elsewhere.

I ended up getting mine at Walmart for $13 (since DWW is one of my favorite movies and one that is double-triple-dip worthy for me). While my nearby UE does have a few BDs behind the counter, they said they didn't have DWW or any new releases... it was just a select batch of stuff for the holidays.

I got it at Target (Hawaii) $19.99 minus $5.00. The cashier scanned it twice but it did not work. She then did an override herself and gave me the 5 bucks off.

The coupon is good almost 4 more weeks, I am holding on. $19.99 or more for catalog (not bashing, my favorite film here) is not going to last.

Grrrrr...bought a copy at Wally World and ran into the same coupon problem as everyone else - finally got my discount and then found out I couldn't remove the stupid Walmart sticker they put on the slipcase.
I know some people just throw the things away, but for those of us that keep them, it's fricken annoying. Why can't they use the same adhesive as the other cover labels? (which came right off by the way)

Got mine for $13 at Walmart. Like others have said, the cashier had to manually deduct $5 from the total because the coupon wouldn't scan. Damn them for putting that sticker on the cover. Mine is not coming off easily.

NO - the blu-ray sticker came right off with no issue. But there's an additional "Wal-Mart" sticker in the upper right corner which does not come off - I guess I could get it wet or use goo-gone, but I don't know what that will do to the cardboard.

Re: $5.00 coupon for Dances With Wolves BD
I had this issue with the BB slipcover, the white sticker came off but was pretty nasty even after goo gone. So I bought one at Target since they dont put such white stickers and swapped out the slip and returned it. Ahhh so bad but I dont much care

Re: $5.00 coupon for Dances With Wolves BD
Was just coming here to post this. My Target had one copy left and they're holding it for me right now. Going to pick it up in a bit. $10 the week after release is great (even if it eventually/inevitably drops further).
