Thanks for the info!

Does anyone know if I will be able to take my receipt into Walmart and get a price match on Machete that I bought this week? I'd love to get my 5 bucks back.

Why not just return Machete back to Walmart for a full refund?

Can someone please post the scan of this ad? I would love to see the dvd prices as well. I much prefer the scan to the list.

Thanks OP!

Looks like I'm getting Piranha at Target instead. Also maybe Machete.

He means buy it from Target at the reduced price, and then return the NEW copy to Wal-Mart with your old receipt.

I'll price match Piranha at BB and use my $10 reward certificate to get it for a little over $10 out the door. Awesome. Thanks OP!

My closest Target is 30 miles away, but I still get a flier. Hoping Walmart will do the price adjustment.

Finally I can pick up Snow White. I've been hoping it would get to around that price before it went "back into the vault".

Btw, you guys think I'll get weird looks if I buy Snow White and Piranha at the same time?

If the price adjustment doesn't work, just buy it again from Wal-Mart with a price match and then return the unopened version with your first receipt.

You should be able to pricematch a competitor within 30 days of purchase. I used to do it all the time when my Wal-mart would put DVDs out early. I'd purchase the movie early then go back in after release with a competitor's sale ad and get back the difference.

I tried to do this when Nightmare on Elm Street and Splice were at Wal-Mart for $15 a piece and then Best Buy had them for $10 a piece 2 weeks later. They simply told me it is not in their policy and I just left it at that. It may just be a YMMV.

And Snausages is 2 for 2 tonight on 1-uping TLK for ad scans.

I can't believe they're advertising "Wall Street" in their ad for $19.99 when it's currently at $16.99 and most of the time can be had for $14.99...

1-uping? It's not like they were competing.

Price lists, ad scans, it doesn't matter to me. Early is early. So I appreciate the efforts of TLK and snausages, and everyone else who has ever contributed early ad info to dvdtalk... Keep up the great work, guys!

I don't think it's a competition.

I wonder if that's meant to be the sequel and they just added the wrong pic.

Uh... No, it's not.

I have access to the Sunday flyers by the Tuesday before the Sunday they come out. If I see nothing has been posted about BD media prices by snausages or ces, I'll post the prices. Scanning a pic of the flyer, OTOH, is a chore for me, so I'm not going to go out of my way to do it, especially if I'm busy that week.
