Neither Target nor Best Buy have exclusives unless you want to count getting a 5 dollar gift card at target with it an exclusive. I doubt walmart has an exclusive either.

What $5 gift card at Target for Machete? My ad doesn't have anything about that...only one that was getting a $5 gift card was Dinner For Schmucks at Best Buy.

Outside of the US, both UK and Sweden will be releasing Machete Blu-ray SteelBook in March 2011.

It's possible Walmart may have an exclusive BD/DVD/DC combo pack version, as multiple Fox titles have been released as store exclusives for combo versions that include DVD copies:

Date Night - Target exclusive
Predators - Walmart exclusive
The A-Team - Target exclusive
Wall Street 2 - Best Buy exclusive

Since we know Target and BB won't have a BD/DVD combo version, I guess we will find out tomorrow if Walmart happened to get one....

I live near a mom and pop video store that always opens up some new releases and sell the blu-rays for $15 used. I don't quite get what their strategy is for doing this, since I don't think they're making any profit. It's not like I'm going to rent something since I just bought it.

Walmart stores and the Walmart website are two entirely different animals, and what one does or doesn't show usually has nothing to do with the other...
In stores, Walmart sold an exclusive regular case version of Seven on BD, as well as an exclusive one disc regular case version of The Exorcist on BD.....the website only showed that they sold the digibook version of Seven and the two disc digibook version of The Exorcist....

If I can snag a copy of this for less than 20 I would be happy without any exclusives. However, with the paltry amount of special features a 20+ dollar asking price is a slap in the face.

Fry's has it for $21.99 that's the cheapest I've seen it so far. Unless WM has it for $20 flat or less then I'll just pick it up at Fry's.

Now I'm not sure, but it had a Best Buy Exclusive sticker on it. I know this because I tried to price match it to the $22 Target price and was denied because of that sticker.

Now that I think about it, the sticker said something about a CinemaNow downloadable copy. I just figured that it was talking about the Digital Copy. Maybe that is what is exclusive about it?

well technically if you are buying something else there then it's a buck cheaper at best buy, you get a 5 dollar gift card for that 25.99 price.

Not to dissuade those looking to purchase this, but apparently Rodriguez announced a director's cut to follow at an undetermined release time. Personally, I'll probably hold out for the extra bloody version and rent this one. Just thought I'd share.
