Use the "tell us about a lower price" link on the Amazon product page for The Social Network. Amazon may match the price then.

I always use that when i find a lower price. Hence me holding out for amazon to match the price.

I notified them of the lower price after i read the original post of this thread, days agao when it was first listed at bb.com for that price.

well my price is now 1.99 for this.
When I called to ask about my delayed shipment of desperado/el mariachi.
the rep offered me a 15.00 promo. I didnt ask for one, I just wanted to get an idea of when to expect it to ship since it still said it was due to arrive today when obviously it hadnt even shipped yet.(I have since recieved a new ship date for them also) so I decided to use my promo on social network, so i have now gone from 16.99 to 1.99 for this.

FYI went to out of stock on amazon right when the clock struck midnight.
2nd week in a row I scheduled one of my two days off to be on release day so i could be home for a delivery cause I no longer trust ups to deliver as promised, ever since UPS claimed they deliverd(ie left on my apt front door even though the building manager says he didnt even let ups in the building that day )a 7.00 copy of vantage point on bd
only to have them delay shipment with out warning.
But cant complain to much since it is only costing me 1.99 but still its rather frustrating.

Got mine from Amazon today, but it came in a mailer and due to the nature of the box, it was partially crushed... not too much, but noticeable.

You should let them know. They will give you a credit.

just be careful when you request too many 'credits'..is it really worth it? There have been customers who've seen their accounts disabled from too many credit requests.

I would imagine there would be more to it than that, as to why there accounts were disabled.

if something really was damaged, they are not going to cancel your account cause either their(amazon) packaging sucked or the carrier damaged it. its not like you are calling up saying your product didnt arrive or there was a item missing from your shipment multiple times.

I have always suspected those people crying that their account was canceled didnt tell the full story behind how they used their amazon accounts.
