Since there is no walmart near my place, I have someone picked up one for me. She said there are at least 20 at the store. I thought it is like Bestbuy's SALT steelbook that sold out very quick. I guess not this movie then.

I saw this today as well, but I want the 3-D Afterlife. Anyone know if WM has a 3D steelbook too? There was a spot for it, but none there. I suspect the answer is no, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed since I have all of the other RE steelbooks.

There's no 3D SteelBook in the U.S., although apparently Germany may be getting one. You can always buy both and put the 3D disc in the SteelBook, and then sell the standard version.

Just purchased it at the Panorama City, CA store for $18.04 + tax! They also had the 3D version tagged at $20.96 on the end cap. The 3D copies next to the steelbook were tagged at $25+ (can't remember the exact price).

My store had the 3d's behind the electronics counter when I asked where their steelbooks were. not sure why either.

Has anyone tried downloading the movie with the 'free' offer from VUDU that came on-pack with the Steelbooks? (see picture above) Is it truly a free download, or do you have to pay for the service in any way?

Yeah, the others came out in steelbook sometime in...September I think? It was to promote Afterlife in theaters. Hard to find now...

And yes, you can redeem it on Vudu. It's only an SD copy though, so I doubt I'll ever watch it on my PS3 using Vudu...

Got the last one at my local Wal-Mart today. No floater! Wonder if I can bring back my receipt with the BB steelbook of Salt and get the coupon redeemed?

Thanks for the idea, I did this today. It is worth noting though, that the coupon didn't work when they scanned it. The cashier had to do the discount manually.
