Stinks they force you to use your Gift Certificate balance (if you have one) if you want to apply the coupon. If I change to credit card, they drop the coupon.

I had that same problem. I'd rather save my GC credit for something that will ship soon, instead of months from now... So I used my wife's Amazon account and ordered it there...

2. Order Tangled with the $8 coupon

3. Cancel your pre-order (this will restore your GC balance)

It's a pain but it works.

Any Disney movie will be less than $20 when it's released with the $10 coupon we always get. I wouldn't expect to pay more than $15, worst case, based on all the previous releases.

Two things first off since this is a 8.00 off coupon its 99 percent likely that the B&M coupon will also be 8.00 as well. same as how the toystory 3 coupon and prince of persia coupons that amazon offered were the same amount that were finally on the b&M coupons
secondly this is for the 3D bluray + Bluray +dvd combo so 21.99 is a great price.

Iam glad amazon and disney are continueing this as it saves me an extra buck or 2 in sales tax instead of buying in store.

Depends on what version. This includes the 3D version. The other, lesser disc, version will certainly be less than $20. Though with Amazon, anything you order will be adjusted as the price falls.

considering its the 3D combo that's an amazing pre-order price... qualifying for the free shipping w/o anything else sealed the deal for me... pre-ordered and now the waiting game... but i doubt any b&m is going to top that for the 3D version.

I pre-ordered at this price, but this is what I imagine happening come April.

Disney releases a ten-dollar off coupon, but only off the BD+BD 3D+DVD+DC combo pack.

The BD+BD 3D+DVD+DC combo pack will retail everywhere on street date for $29.99 or above. I'm assuming this as Disney's A Christmas Carol's cheapest price on its 3D combo pack when the coupon was eligible was $29.99 at Target. Same applies to this week's release of Step Up 3D. [For clarification, Best Buy released both titles at $34.99.]

Meaning the Amazon option, if you're Prime at least, pretty much costs the exact same once all is said and done.

Dont count on a 10.00 coupon. So far with the prior examples of amazon doing a disney coupon its turned out to be the same price as the Brick and Morter coupon. its 99 percent likely the coupon will also be 8.00 like the one amazon is offering.

Best Buy had Christmas Carol had it on their website for 27.99 on release day, and I was able to use the $10 coupon and PM the website and get it for 17.99 + tax.

I did the same thing. This is a "just in case" preorder given that I think (like others have said) we can guess what will happen, but we can never be sure (hence the "just in case" part). The 3D version will probably be at least $29.99 everywhere else and the Disney coupon will probably only be $8. We might get lucky and Amazon might drop the price a buck or two, and I assume the $8 Amazon coupon will remain. Also, for those talking about the Disney coupon, past experience has shown that it may work for more than just the version shown.

I also picked regular free shipping as my free Prime will surely expire by April. I know people say that they ship based on your Prime status when you ordered rather than when it ships, but I've never found where that's written in Amazon's policies.
