the only down side to the Burn Notice bluray is that it's the only season on bluray. ever.

I just picked up S1 of Burn Notice for $8 on DVD during BF; debating going for a double blind buy.

At that price probably low risk, but I had both myself and recently watched S1 for a few episodes and promptly got rid of my sets (didn't open S2). I couldn't take the smarmy voice over narration. However, this show certainly has a lot of fans so maybe just me.

Yeah that definitely took getting used to. As for me, I'm a Bruce Campbell fan so his presence made it worth the smarm. Worse than the lead actor's voice is his douchey smile. It's hard to take. That aside, it's a decent show.

I guess we'll only get the rest of Burn Notice in high-def if they release a complete series package down the line. If it wasn't selling well enough to warrant high-def releases for seasons 3 and 4, even that might be a long shot.

For this price, I picked it up anyway. One season on blu-ray is better than none, I suppose.

wow. I went and googled up some other reviews and they were bad as well. It is back ordered until after Christmas for me and if I cancel it I will lose free shipping. I am not so sure what to do, it might be worth paying 4 bucks shipping for the rest of my order.

^ I canceled my order - I had no idea the PQ was so lacking. Some of the screengrabs I saw looked worse than DVD.

Looks like they raised the price to 39.99. You could easily sell it probably at some point for a profit.
