Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)

Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)
Checking eBay and CamelCamelCamel, it doesn't appear those two have sold for much cheaper new (or used for that matter). Still, both will probably now show up at my local Blockbuster during their next 5 for $20 sale.
Also pre-ordered the Scream Trilogy after reading the "Still Screaming" documentary would be included. That is a sweet pre-order price. I would have paid at least $5 for the doc alone. So glad I didn't buy the single releases when they were $6 -- I was hoping something like this would come along.

I will be away from home for the next ten days, so no lists from me for the duration.
As always, there are useful links in the first post of this thread that will help in finding low prices at Amazon.

Went ahead and ordered Stuart Little BD/DVD Combo for $7.99
SL2 is $12.99. I'll wait for the second one to come down in price.

Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)
I found the back cover scan of Stuart Little and it looks like the same extras as before, so I'll assume everything is ported over in SD from the old DVD. The question is how good is the picture and video upgrade over the DVD I already have, and who knows if any reviews will come before the price goes up. Unfortunately I found 0 reviews after Google searching and checking Amazon reviews. This would effectively be a $2.99 BD upgrade since the movie ticket is worth $5 to me... IF and only if it includes AMC Theaters.
Could anyone who does this movie ticket deal (it doesn't have to be Stuart Little) and receives a code from Amazon please do me a favor? When you enter your code and check your local theaters, could you tell me (post or PM) if you see AMC Theaters are included? If AMC is included in 1 part of the country, it should be all. Thanks.

Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)
I know Amazon is notorious for changing prices unpredictably (usually upwards after release and then back down after a while or after I buy it), but do we have any reason to think this is a special sale price or just the normal price for this catalog title? The odd part is that when Stuart Little 1-2, Jumanji, and Zathura were released, they got different prices.

Just got the Stuart Little BLU/DVD combo pack from Amazon. The DVD is the same as the 2002 Foolscreen Deluxe Edition, with a new 2011 label on the disc.

Back down to $7.99. FWIW, Futurama vol 5 is $13.49 on Blu, I think that might be a low as it seems to match now Wally's price of $13.00 (once you factor in tax and all that wonderful stuff).
