I was gonna buy this until I read the reviews... Definitely not an upgrade over my DVD, so I won't spend the money, even if it is only 8 bucks...

Is your DVD anamorphic? That was reason enough for an $8 upgrade for me.

At $8, I had to bite on the Killer, even with the so-so reviews. Ditto on Hardboiled for $9.49.

Mulling Minority Report at $12.49. Love the movie, but didnt want to pay over $10 for it. But, with the Killer being so cheap, that does make up some of the difference.

Yeah, it wasn't for me either. For $8, I'm sure it's watchable, at the very least, but its issues make it a tough decision, and there are far superior supplements on older DVDs, despite their flaws. The Hong Kong Blu-ray from Kam & Ronson was released a few weeks back, but I haven't seen any reliable reviews yet, and based on their history so far (and the raves of a complacent few in various forums for every "slightly better" thing they put out), I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

I thought The Killer looked fine. Sure, there could be some improvement, but for $7.99 it seemed fine to me (I'd bought it over X-mas at that price). --Peter
