It was 2 disc BLU/digital copy (3 discs total) but now it's 2 disc BLU/DVD (also 3) & the one that in Target's ad this week.

Difference is likely as with the Disney releases.. What case holds the discs... and who wants the larger DVD cases anymore...

Damn, I'm going to have to jump on Bones. I think I have one of the seasons on DVD but that's too good of a price for a 22 episode hour long show to pass up.

Also, on the page for Bones Season 4, it says you can order it and Season 5 - and save an additional $10. So, Seasons 4 AND 5 end up $49.98 total.

Yeah, I assume that's the case: Blu-ray vs. DVD packaging. It's probably in the packaging of the format that's listed first, but usually they're more explicit about that.

Are you certain the version of Prince Caspian that comes with the DVD is also 3 discs (2 blu, 1 DVD)? The Amazon specs for that version only says 2 Discs are included and I want to make sure I get the special features BD.

EDIT: Just browsing eBay - it seems the version with the DVD does have 3 discs included, despite what Amazon lists.

Version 1: 2 Disc BD + Digital Copy
Version 2: 2 Disc BD
Version 3: 2 Disc BD + DVD

If the high-def content is the same on all versions, I'll wait for it to go lower. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Disney will add it to the list of free blu-rays on the Movie Reward site.

and if you go to the Best Value, they will throw Mr & Mrs Smith in for only $3.99 (it takes $6 off for buying both)..

Not sure if it's in here or not - I can't do a search on this title. But Clint Eastwood's 'Man With No Name' trilogy is $24.49 (showed up in my Gold Box for $23.27).

i think amazon's goal this holiday season is to drain my wallet to the absolute bare minimum...lots of price drops this morning.

Your not joking, I put so much aside each year for all my movies buys (I also put this is for going out). As it stands I can only buy two deals from this weeks LD and see Tron or go over.

That is not a bad deal. My GF with the Puss in Boots eyes came to me last week and wanted my unopened movies (I had two of them). Being that each cost about $10 or so at Costco its a nice deal.

On a side note how do you get the Gold Box deals or are you talking about *your name* quick picks of the day?
