All the usual Rodriguez stuff (cooking school, film school, any behind-the-scenes stuff at all, commentary, etc.) are missing. There's nothing official, exactly, but based on all that, I'd say a re-release is a very sure thing. When it'll happen, though, I have no idea.
It will most likely happens when Machete Kills comes out.
And yes they really are working on 2 sequals, Danny comes to my work to watch movies quite a bit, and is always really friendly, I asked if they were really going to do a follow up or if it was just a gag at the end.

And he said there is definately a sequal in the works.

Sigh. I thought you guys were talking about this:

and was wondering why everyone was talking about this movie like it was great. Sigh. No more alcohol late at night.

It wasn't terrible, but it really needed more blood and gore. Heck, the whole premise of the movie was BLOOD, yet they barely showed any! The unrated cut might remedy that, but I only saw the theatrical cut...

Danny watches movies on your boat tour?
When I worked on the Paramount lot, Robert Rodriguez's food delivery went to us by mistake. I called Robert to find out where he was at, and was surprised he actually answered his own phone. There were so many questions I wanted to ask him, but all I talked about was the food delivery mistake. Sigh...

I've seen people post non-BD's in here before, for titles not available on BD. It's not like we have an equivalent for this thread in the DVD area. But I have deleted my post...

Romeo+Juliet and Moulin Rouge are down to $14.99 each. Too bad that $10 off a purchase of both promo isn't still going; I'd be all over that.

Wallet has taken quite the break over the last week. Looks like it might be a trend that continues for a while.

Amazon has Battlestar Galactica complete collection for $160 . Is that a fair price? I recall it being cheaper in the past.

And for a few lucky people NBCUniversalStore.com briefly had BSG on BD for $50. I wasn't one of those lucky people though.

OMG that movie sucks. Awhile back I used to work at a really high end hometheater store and this was one of the first blu rays we had to show off and they played it on a forever loop. I wanted to kill myself.

The Last Unicorn is up for pre-order at $14.99. It was in my gold box yesterday, so I jumped on the few cents savings.

This BD/DVD combo pack has both the edited 25th Anniversary Edition and the original uncensored version (well, as uncensored as a G movie can be).

I own the 25th Anniversary Edition of the Last Unicorn... I never knew it was edited. How much was cut out?

A few stray lines of dialogue were edited to be more kid-friendly. Per Wikipedia:

Lionsgate licensed the German video masters and audio mix, and came up with a "25th Anniversary Edition" DVD which was released in North America on February 6, 2007. It has audio and visual quality superior to the original U.S. release, and is in 16:9 widescreen format, but has several swear words edited out, and as a result of being taken from PAL masters, plays 4% faster than the original film, resulting in a slightly higher audio pitch than normal. The new DVD edition includes a featurette with an interview with the author, as well as a set-top game, image gallery, and the original theatrical trailer.

Dang, I was in for Black Dynamite for $10, but it jumped immediately to $20. That was a short deal.

Ha, they did match that L.A. Confidential price from Best Buy! I already ordered it there, luckily there was no shipping charge and tax was only a handful of cents.
