This seems to be the case with this movie along with a handful of others. Someone has posted about the UK version being about $35US? There really is not much they can do with this movie. It was made very cheap to start off with. I like my $5 DVD set at this point.
I ordered it then but it has not shipped yet due to a pre-order title I had in my order. I just canceled the pre-order, so this set should be shipping soon. |

Is the UK Superman set identical to the US?

The UK and US Superman sets have 100% identical content. The only difference is the packaging and how the discs are labeled.

This is just an observation, but it seems that products that tend to go on sale by multiple sites end up with bigger discounts come BF. Last year the Warner boxes were around 17 at Amazon, then 11.xx (after discount) at WB, then some were $8 at Target.com on Cyber Monday. Just a consideration for those that may jump on the bandwagon and later find a cheaper price. Of course, this is just speculation. |

Since WB charges tax, I think yesterday's deal still was better, plus dealing with Amazon is better than WB (or anyone else for that matter). not a great price, but for those that can't wait, tolerable.
