Ah, the stock market-like pricing of amazon. Ya gotta love it.

The combo was $26.98 when I made the post. They must have jacked up the price since...oh well.

The lowest it's ever been is $22.99, which is just crazy. If it weren't a digibook, it would at least have hit $14.99 by now, if not $9.99.

I fulfilled my columbia house account with King Kong as one of my selections. The digibooks make great fulfillment choices there. Warner tends to keep the prices up on them and issue non digibook versions at cheaper prices.

I did the same; I used Mutiny on the Bounty as another fulfillment. I still wouldn't own these otherwise.

It's a calibration/demo disc for HDTVs and home theatres.

Incidentally, does anyone know why amazon offers this in lots of six? Who is regularly buying six copies at a time?

No punctuation lesson needed, thanks.

The poster didn't know what it was. If he/she doesn't care, no biggie.

A lot less relevant stuff gets posted here.

I was mildly interested, not interested enough to search or ask but interested enough to appreciate your response.

I wasn't trying to correct anyone, I just didn't understand the sentence as written.

Here's the sentence as intended:

Whatever Disney WOW is, it's already gone up $22.
Not a question, per se, but he didn't know what Disney WOW was, and Superdaddy provided clarification.

That's right, I just read it and assumed there was a comma there.

My apologies to whotony. I'm unusually cranky today and didn't mean to take it out on you.

I'm hoping for a deal on 6 & 7 closer to release. Hopefully closer to $20 each.

No Strings Attached is $15.99, though I see a month ago it was listed in this thread as $16.99 so not a screaming deal

are all the exact same BDs as previously released, just with a DVD and a DC added, right? Because I see several of them are cheaper than the standalone BD.

Are there any blus on sale that has free tickets to Transformers Dark of the Moon? There used to be a thread for dvds with free movies but I think its now inactive. Any info on the above would be great. Want to see the movie in 3D as reviews says its best 3D since Avatar.

No one has reported any remasters on these. The prices are indeed good.

Beware that a few of those transfers have received pretty heavy criticism. I haven't watched the BD versions myself so I won't comment. Out of Africa probably leads the pack for taking brickbats.

Hmm, those are good prices over a variety of titles. Might look to pick up a couple that I never got around to getting rather than wait for a lower vanilla price point.
