Very good deal.
I wound up picking up the dvd set instead of the blu for the kids. 23.99 for the dvd is pretty good especially considering picking up the 4th by itself is more than half the cost.

Which cashback site did you use? I thought e bates was the best rate for DD at 2.5%, but it sounds like you got 5.5%!

I wasn't planning on getting this, since I really want the 3-D set. But lord knows when that will stop being a Samsung exclusive...

That's why I said cashbacks. My chase slate card that replaced my chase overstock card I had never used beforea note in the mail, but they sent me a note in the mail that I would get 3% off all my purchases in November and December.

I gave it a shot, although I feel a little uncomfortable about it, but $10 is $10, so I cancelled my Amazon order. Hopefully it works out and I get it before the end of the year.

thanks OP... i know lots of people have had issues with DD lately, but over the years they have treated me well... gladly cancelled my amazon order on this and went in... slow shipping but i buy so much that I have other things to watch anyway.

Me too. What brand is your 3D TV? If you have a Mitsubishi, it uses glasses that are compatible with Samsung 3D glasses #SSG-2100AB. I just don't know if the glasses that are bundled with the Shrek movies are compatible. They have a similar model number to the glasses that come in the Mitsubishi 3D Starter Kit, but they're not exact. Might be worth checking out... if you have a Mitsubishi TV.

They now have a warehouse in CA, so that is why you would have to pay tax now. Ever since I bought from them I have had to pay tax because of the warehouse here in Illinois. Does it stink, sure but not like you can get a better price out there right now even without paying tax. You don't like it, you of course don't have to buy from them.

BOOO to taxes in California - it's my main reason for shopping online. At least they're only charging 8.5% instead of the 9.75% I pay in my county.
