Re: Ultimate Electronics ad (11/28-12/4)

Does anyone think they will take the BOGO coupon and both $10 coupons to make Fantasia + Sorcerer's Apprentice only $3.95?

they won't. the bogo coupon invalidates it according to the their electronics manager.

Nice Matrix price!

Do we have an idea yet whether they'll take multiple BOGO coupons per transaction, or multiple per day, or even multiple per person...?

If you have a Ultimate nearby, they've been giving out coupons for a few weeks now and should still have them... and for most places the deal goes live on Monday.
According to beebs in the post above from the Amazon thread, he's appears to be lucky.

My coupon specifically says "Limit 1" and that it starts tomorrow (11/29/10-12/24/10)...but I am all over "Metropolis" and the "Batman" set, though "The Matrix" set looks like a tasty treat, too...

With the BOGO coupons going live today, picked up Avatar SE, Matrix box (on a raincheck), and a couple Criterions. This is the way to go with Criterions through December.

And I was able to use three BOGO coupons, but in separate transactions, FYI.

So do they not have any issues taking the BOGO coupons for sets? Like, as the BO and/or GO part of it? What about the two-movie packs?

At least in my case, the media manager took the coupon for the Matrix set without batting an eye.

I had one of those coupons last month that said Limit 1, but at the register he said I could get 5 sets. YMMV of course, but you should definitely ask...

I was wondering the same thing... If i go in there tomorrow and get Fantasia for $13.95 with the Disney coupon will I be able to use a BOGO coupon??
And if so will the other title I get for free have to be lower than $13.95 or $23.95?

Re: Ultimate Electronics ad (11/28-12/4)

Picked up The Goonies 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray.

Used the $25 gift card I got while shopping at UE two weeks ago and the BOGO to pick up the Austin Powers trilogy on Blu.

I had hoped for the Ocean's 11 boxset, but it was sold out.

Total came to $13 and some change. Not bad at all.

Re: Ultimate Electronics ad (11/28-12/4)

Got the Batman and Oceans 11/12/13 box sets for $24.95 total. They were sold out of the Matrix and Dirty Harry boxes, I got the last Batman. Still had several Oceans and Austin Powers sets left (this is at the Salem NH store).

You could get some good deals using the coupon - ie. two Alien sets for $99, or two Complete Lost sets for $225, etc.

The store near me had nothing except for the Ocean's set...... So disappointed that I missed Batman in both the Barnes and Nobles fiasco and this sale.

Re: Ultimate Electronics ad (11/28-12/4)

I tried the BOGO with Fantasia but they wouldnt let me do it.. So I just got Fantasia for $15... : /

I asked if they had any more BOGO coupons and she said they're not giving those out anymore.. That irks me because I was only able to get ONE BOGO coupon this whole time and now they say they're not giving them anymore...

Does anyone have any extra BOGO coupons they don't want or wont be using?? Or maybe you could grab me a couple at your store? lol I know it's a long shot but I figured I'd ask.. I only got one. : /

Meanwhile, the snooty manager baulked at my asking if I could do 2 more titles on the BOGO.

Oh, well, picked up "Batman" and "Metropolis" for $30 total.

And to think I contemplated picking up "Epic Mickey"...that decision killed it. Back to using them for price matching only...

If you used a BOGO and both coupons, shouldn't your total have been closer to $4?

$23.95 (Fantasia + SA using BOGO)
- $10 (SA coupon)
- $10 (Fantasia coupon)
------
$3.95

Do their coupons actually come off of the item price? Most stores deduct them at the end, so I would have thought 3.95 would be the final price. But if they are actually reducing the price of the item to 13.95, then I understand why. But I think that sucks... If you bought them with no coupons, you would have paid 23.95. They can redeem both coupons for $20 from Disney. So really they SHOULD have only made you pay $3.95. They are making an extra $10 doing it the way they did, which just ain't right.
