Why So Blu?

One of my most recent orders supposedly came from Idaho Falls, ID but the shipping label said it was from Amarillo, TX. Granted, that's probably their HQ but if you scan the label or look at the tracking number they will originate from all over the place.

Yes, their HQ is in Amarillo and *all* shipping labels, no matter the originating store, indicates *that* as the return address. You have to either scan the label and/or do tracking on the order to determine from where a shipment comes.

I found ten movies / sets for the missing order and I desperately wanted them all. I've shared with them the original confirmation email and a screen shot of the order still listed on their website, but they don't seem to give two **its about it.

And now I've got to send another TWO sets back from my last order of five:

1. I ordered Midsomer Murders SERIES 3 and they sent SET 3, which is actually Series 4.

2. And even worse, I ordered In Treatment Season 1, and they sent a straight-up Chinese bootleg set.

I'd almost be willing to keep the Midsomer Murders set, but since I've got to send back the bootleg set, I might as well send 'em both back.

Sale says it excludes blu-ray but it works on 3 used BDs. Brought 3 used BDs & one was for $39.99. Final discount was $3.33 each & shipping.

I was JUST about to post this!!! Placed 2 order so far, and just like the last big sale it works and some items but not others. It takes a little trial and error to find 3 that work, but it's totally worth the time IMO.

The only DVD I placed in my cart would not accept the discount... The over $30 Blu ray sets and all my other Blu ray did... Bizarre and here's to hoping they don't cancel...

Of note, it does seem limited to 9 items per order...

Drat! I had no idea the blu-rays were involved in this sale. I found several awesome DVD sets for this, though: the Complete Freaks and Geeks, the Complete Seinfeld, and the Complete Breaking Bad (I don't need blu-ray for everything, especially TV sets). Hoping they ship, even though the packaging for these would destroy my current display setup. I have my eye on my order status and so far nothing. Tomorrow will tell for sure.

Joey, not sure which one that is. I know about FYE, which sometimes has decent deals, but infrequently! It's definitely filled with toys and clothes, but the movies still occupy the majority of the store from one side to the other. What didn't fair so well were the CDs!

Not all tiles qualify... Yet many Blu-ray and Sets qualify... Even some that are above the 29.99 threshold... Keep putting stuff in your cart and see which ones get discount.

Have gotten a few. They are fairly in decent shape. Not brand spanking new (unlike some Bluray movies I have received when ordered used). but still very acceptable. Dust jacket may or may not be included or if included, could be in rough shape but the books themselves are in very good shape. My experience though - YMMV as always

Interesting. Wonder what the filter algorithm is for the qualification - I can't imagine sitting in front of my machine, adding and removing stuff for a luck of the draw title(s) to fill the cart. I have had more luck with under $20 BD titles on this sale than on under $29.99 DVD titles as the sale claims as qualifying titles. Now to know that titles higher than $29.99 MAY also qualify only makes this frustratingly challenging. But thanks for the info

Pretty sure they fixed the over $29.99 BD glitch. It was working last night when I tried it. But currently it is not working on all of the over $29.99 titles I've put in just now.

It still works for BD $29.99 and under though.
