pretty routine order of things. my beef is also with PV discs - have ordered about 50 of them in the last couple of years. Other than the DVD case they come in, I had no problems with them. Recent two orders have none shipped with the original artwork, just a disc thrown into the DVD case. Noticed that their web site description of PV discs says artwork may not be included - had not noticed that before as it had never happened to me. So people, watch out for PV disc orders

^I dislike the cases enough that I rarely opt for PV discs. I've received discs which were originally in digipak cases with the discs stacked inside the rental case and the fold-out digipak "case" cut to pieces so it'll "fit" where the outer artwork goes. I've also received those in the original cases so I know it's a localized thing. Since you can't/don't know before hand I just stopped with PV unless it's a highly desired title which is OOP or the price is *very* good.

I don't think I ever had a PV discs sent to me in a dvd case. Of the 8 used blu-rays ordered.

1. The Peanuts Movie 3D arrived today, with slip case, all 3 discs & Digital HD Code. (shipped 1st class)
2. Spectre, Creed, & Sisters - (Media Mail, that sucks).
3. Daddy's Home (UPS Mail Innovations Expedited??)
4. Minions 3D & Brooklyn (each shipped 1st class)
5. Room was canceled

I often get the wrong disc in the right cases or just the wrong edition altogether. Usually GH makes it right and refunds. When they don't, I just challenge the PP charge and they do.

Got my Stars Wars set in the mail today. I didn't realize they had a newer redesigned set, so that was a nice surprise. Overall, I'm happy for $28.

definitely yes as that one had no restrictions. this code, with the exception a few ones, largely excludes all 3D titles as well and many other sets that are well within the $29.99 price (but are inexplicably excluded). That being said, within the set that qualifies for this discount, there are quite a few good ones to be had and I seem to see price drops on many in my wish list that included titles that qualify for this sale. I only wish they combined shipping but given that they fulfill orders from different locations, they can't do it and am good for it.

Shit, and their previously viewed BD selections are even cheaper. What's the difference between previously viewed and used?

Previously viewed is a "rental" copy. For some studios, this means no special features and possibly a big "rental" bubble on the bottom, like the Blockbuster days of old. For other studios, there's no difference outside of the drastically lower price.

I have had a fairly good run with their PV discs other than the fact that many are dispatched in the rental (blockbuster style) cases. But lately, I have been receiving discs with no artwork, so there is a price to be (not) paid for PV. Its luck of the draw

Why So Blu?

They sort of stick it to you in the shipping charge. Almost $13 for 10 BD's, which in my case brings my costs up to about $3.70 per BD. Don't get me wrong, still a great deal, but most of my selections are catalog releases. If the shipping charge were even half of that then that would be great.
