I just checked about an hour ago to see if they matched BB so I guess the just dropped it. That's a really good price. Doesn't beat what I paid for it but I would definitely pay $28 for it.

That's an excellent price. I would recommend it for anyone still on the fence.

However, I already own the final season... so, obviously, I can't get this price myself. But I don't regret getting it for $40 at release with the extra 'complete series set' bonus disc from Best Buy.

I have all the other seasons on blu.

I now refuse to crap any other money away on the series after they crapped that finale on my face.

QFT. It's a great deal if you loved/liked the finale but if not.....

The finale made me regret purchasing seasons 1-5 on blu for $108 last year.

Unfortunately the numerous jerks on the Internet ruined the finale with just 1 key sentence for me which was mixed in with Lost BD deal discussions I was looking at. I won't repeat it because I don't want to be a jerk like the others were by ruining it, and I don't know how to do the "Spoilers" button. I agree if that 1 sentence was correct, the finale sounds very lame (it's what one would call a "cheap shot"), but I'm capable of enjoying a series even if the last episode sucks.

That said, I read that Walmart.com has S6 for $27.49, though when adding tax you'd be better off at Amazon if you missed the Best Buy deal.

Argh! I paid $39 for this during DD's recent 20% autumn sale.... this is a great price, wish I would have waited. And I thought season 6 was terrific, including the finale.

My sentiment exactly. It's not just the finale for me that disappointed. It's the entire 6th season which set up the disappointing finale. It's polarizing.

Pretty much. On one hand I could complete the set relatively cheaply and have Ab Aeterno on BD, but that means owning the rest of the season with it.

Picked it up Sunday from Best Buy with the 30% off coupon for 22.74 + tax

I picked mine up for the same price on Sunday, BUT I didn't know there was an exclusive version with bonus disc, so I bought the regular edition. Then (after it was too late) people mentioned the exclusive edition which I didn't remember seeing. So I went back today to see if I could've gotten it (had I known) or it was never there in the first place, and sure enough there were 2 exclusive editions on the shelf below the others. I bought it but I was bummed because they have different UPCs (and not a sticker either) so I can see no way that I can return the non-exclusive version with the $32.49 receipt from today.

Anyone have any brilliant suggestions? I only see 3 possibilities:
1. I go in to Best Buy with both unopened editions and receipts and beg/hope someone will do an exchange (without taking away my 30% off coupon or RZ certificates) because they are the same item at the same price but just a different SKU/UPC.
2. I keep both and return the old one w/o receipt for $32.49 store credit after Christmas.
3. I return the exclusive edition, keep the old one, and decide it's not worth all the trouble for a bonus disc.

I may try #1 a few times, but I think I have a 5% chance of success and I'll probably get some sort of comment like "you shouldn't have been able to use the 30% coupon on a sale item so I can't do an exchange and let you keep the coupon". I'd probably have to do it this week while the price is still $32.49. Sigh. All of this because I don't have time to keep track of exclusive editions and didn't find out in time.
