Hurt Locker $9.99
SPR $9.99

I will probably try for the two Batmans. On the fence about Spartacus season one at $24.99.
Yay! I don't feel bad on Lost. I thought for sure they'd have it super cheap and make me feel bad (as Amazon did on Mad Men). That price for S1-S6 is almost exactly what I paid buying S1-5 + S6 separately. Actually the rest of the titles were rather predictable because the $5 titles were specifically shown in Walmart's ad and SPR is shown in BB's ad.

I'll try for Batman Begins, but getting any lightning deals on Friday morning may be difficult as I can't be at the stores and online at the same time (well maybe if I had a data smartphone which I don't). Is Hurt Locker any good? It had such mixed reviews. It won best picture but then other people said it was very boring and they gave the award to her just to spite James Cameron, and I've never trusted the MPAA's judgment ever since they awarded best soundtrack to Chariots of Fire over Raiders of the Lost Ark. I've never watched the Oscars since... sorry to digress.

Just ordered Kickass (Blu) & Dead Rising 2 (PS3) for $44 shipped.

DR 2 is a lightning deal right now, for $35 it's a steal.

Eh Idk about Dead Rising 2 for that price, I heard it wasn't that great. Goldeneye hit the 35 mark as well.

Killing zombies in a gory fashion is right up my alley, should be awesome.

I think it's up everyone's alley but it just seems disappointing and the price went back up to 55 so damn loll.

I'm really pulling for Donkey Kong Country.

Edit: Actually i'm wrong it's a lightning deal. Metroid Other M looks to be a deal but eh. The zany 8 worlds has me intrigued, sounds like a Nintendo game but is it Kirby or donkey Kong or Mario?

You can order them right now if you want. I just did lol. Idk if the replay value is there, I know Walking Dead has replay value but Mad Men season 1 had some hard episodes to get through but then some of the episodes were flat out amazing, watched the season premiere of Season 2 which was good but I'm holding out to see all of Mad Men on blu.

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

I do know one thing after getting burned on paying too much for Mad Men S2 and S3 BDs. I'm not going to buy S4 BD until it's $10 or less, so I hereby predict that Black Friday 2011 there will be no similar deals on S4 and I'll be waiting until hell freezes over to see $9.99 on that one. Hope I'm wrong though...

Hhaha I wish Mad men season 4 was part of this deal. I honestly don't want to wait that long to watch season 4.

20 is my price point for that set. I have 1, 3 and 4 and we've watched maybe a handful of episodes from those sets. We've watched most before but hardly the sets so I'll wait for the 20 dollar mark. However, 26.99 is still a nice price.

Still pissed about all the X-Box only exclusives for DR 2 to continue to keep me away from it.

LOL to say nothing about still no PS3 port of DR 1. (Yes I know its a pipe dream, but dammit, its MY PIPE DREAM!)

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Angels & Demons, Legion, Superbad, The Dark Knight, Taking of Phelam 123,Batman Begins, Armored all 5 dollar Blus.

I'll be getting Legion and Batman Begins, possibly Angels and Demons but I doubt it.

Predators, Saving Private Ryan, The Hurt Locker, are the 5 dollar blu's.

I'll be in for Predators and probably SPR.

I'm quite disappointed in the price of Spartacus, I was wanting to pick it up for maybe 15, 20 bucks. 25 is just too much for me.

Not BR deals, but I'll also be getting Talladega Nights (2 bucks), and maybe Casino Royale. 2 Dollar DVDs for movies I enjoy is hard to pass up. I'm not a fan of the Fast and the Furious movies, so I probably won't get those.

Where did the Entourage deals go? It's not on the calendar anymore...

Predators and Saving Private Ryan are going to hit the 5 dollar mark? I might pick up those 2 movies in the morning at work and if I can get Predators and SPR for 5 bucks each I'm going to take advantage of that.

From everything I've seen those 2 are going to be 10 to match best buy. He put "those are the 5 dollar blu's" twice so I assume he just put the wrong number in front of those, but the others do appear to be 5

I'll definitely be picking up Lost: The Complete Series tomorrow morning. With my $62 credit, I can grab it for $62.99. Awesome.

I guess I deserve slaps upside the head like this for violating my strict policy of not paying over $15 for anything, and even $15 is tough. I passed on a bunch of Newegg BD and game deals @ $15 each and some Amazon $12.99 BDs I want because I just know I'll get bitten if I don't wait for more price drops.
To the bold part above, been there done that!

Just picked up Season 3 on Blu for $9.99.

And not to rub it in, but back in August I thought to myself that if Fry's had these Mad Men Seasons for $18.99 then surely Amazon would be selling them for at least that much on Black Friday. So, my plan was to wait and pick up Season 3 at Amazon and save the sales tax (yes, I'm that cheap when it comes to things I can wait for).

I just now logged on to Amazon, having no idea the Mad Men Season sets were going to be this cheap... holy crap, $9.99 is an amazing deal for these sets. Now my new watermark for a series on Blu is $9.99 I'm doomed!

My computer seems to be on the fritz. It took me nearly 90 minutes to get my browser to load this morning. Guess I'll have to be up bright and early (say, midnight? ) to make sure I can access tomorrow's lightning deals.

Anyway, ordered all three Mad Men BDs - total blind buy, but can you go wrong at that price? Also had to get Kick-Ass for $10 (thank you, Amazon!).

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Just picked up:
1. Mad Men S1 [Blu-Ray] - $9.99
2. Mad Men S2 [Blu-Ray] - $9.99
3. Mad Men S3 [Blu-Ray] - $9.99
4. Daybreakers [Blu-Ray] - $9.99
5. Kick-Ass [Blu-Ray] - $9.99

I see Weeds S5 [Blu-Ray] just went down to $9.99 after I picked it up from B&N yesterday (and already shipped!.) Doh!

My wish list is slowly inching to less than 100 titles. Thank you Amazon! Thank you one month before Christmas!

The Hurt Locker is one of my most favorite movies of this decade. i showed it to my History vs. Hollywood (seniors in HS) classes last year and they all loved it. i've seen it at least 4 times since release and in theater and it is the anti-thesis of boring.
