The only other blu-ray version was the "Ultimate Cut" which had the Tales of the Black Freighter cartoon edited into the movie, but that version is currently out of print.

The blu-ray of Watchmen did come with a lenticular cover, but it looks like it was limited to the original pressings only. I haven't seen the slipcover on a copy in-store for about a year. So it's doubtful you'll get one if you order it from Amazon.

Showgirls is very tempting... (because it's so bad, it's sort of fun to laugh at it now). But I spent a ton on photo gear, so I'm probably going to avoid dropping too much on BDs this holiday season.

Got my Prince of Persia Blu-ray at 3:40pm EST (10 minutes after the lightning deal started) and it was already 88% claimed.

Can someone post a link to the Showgirls Blu-ray? I can't seem to find it on Amazon.

Iam on a wait list for the prince of persia, and i checked at 3:41 pm so they went fast. I was planning on getting it right at 12:30 but when i saw B&N had austin powers trilogy back in stock , i focused on getting that instead, so while i was signing up for the 2 month free membership prince of persia at amazon totally slipped my mind. thats ok though if i dont end up getting POP for 9.99 today though, as I got 3 movies i really liked for 9.17 with the austin powers set. Iam number 416 it says i have a fair chance of recieving the prince of persia for 9.99 so we will see.

Yea, I agree with you despite the feeding frenzy going on. I tend to get my movies not too long after release, using CH or other nefarious means.

I did pick up Long Good Friday, in spite of the underwhelming review. I was on the fence about The Killer at $10ish, but just couldn't seem to pull the trigger on that abomination from DD.
