Check your local Blockbuster. They might have a used copy for $12.99, and the ones I've seen at several different stores haven't had the sticky backing.

When you click the waitlist button, a little bubble pops up supplying you with your number in the queue.

I kept telling myself that it was the same as the previous great special they had for $100/5 seasons, except that this had 6 seasons and a bunch of extras. I even had thought about trying to sell it on fleabay or CL.

However, now having it in my hands, I think I am going to keep this one. Besides, I've never had anything come from Amazon with foam shipping protectors...they did such a good job to get it to me in such good condition, it is the least that I can do.
It's a great deal, but still expensive for most over $100. Congrats, mine hasn't even shipped yet!

I received Predators today but it didn't come with Predator as part of the best value bundle.

Hannibal Lector Trilogy is going even faster than Shutter Island.

They're shipping everything separately, it seems. Sounds like a waste of money to me, but they have split every single one of my orders so far...

Unless Lizard chimes in with more mayhem for me, I believe Shutter Island will do it for me now.

My Lost set just shipped a minute ago. I felt both excitement, and pain from the forthcoming credit card bill...

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Is anyone else experience slow shipping with prime 2 day? I had a shipment that was supposed to arrive 11/24 via UPS and it didn't show up until 11/26. Had two BD's that were supposed to arrive today via USPS and the mail has come and gone with no package. One other order arrived on time.

Sort of makes me wonder why I pay for Prime when 2/3 of the shipments take longer than the promised 2 days.

Prime as of late is not what it used to be, I used to ALWAYS get my stuff within 2 days, now I get it anywhere between 2 days to NEVER....since they have started to use shitty 3rd party shippers like Prestige. I have NEVER got a credit from Amazon for late packages and I order 60+ packages a month, but I see others getting credit for late packages, I always get a "Please wait until this day and we will ship a new package out"

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

From my understanding, Amazon (and other mega-big retailers) pay per the pound for their shipments - that's why it's easier/cheaper for them to send individual orders. Plus Amazon is shipping from multiple locations, so trying to consolidate someone's order may not be physically possible. --Peter

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Every blu-ray I'd received until today was shipped individually in a box and shrink-wrapped to a piece of cardboard.

This afternoon, I got Batman Begins, TDK and Predators in an oversized box with no padding whatsoever. Needless to say, the Predators slipcover was fairly beaten up. Not worth complaining over - it's just ironic that this was the one order that would have benefited from being shrink-wrapped to some cardboard.

The last edit to the list was it for today. Price changes dried up a couple of hours ago. I'll be interested to see if there are many tomorrow.

Enough screen time, I need to get out and get some exercise!

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Hannibal Anthology lasted 12 minutes. Decided to get Shutter Island as well, breaking my $10 max Blu-ray rule but I'm telling myself I can break it once with my last order of this year's BF sales.

Thanks to Lizard for continuously posting the latest price drops on Amazon. It was a very big help although my wallet didn't particularly like it.

Til next year folks!

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

And with Shutter Island I am finished.

Thanks a lot to lizard for helping make this a black friday week success at amazon. I got 75 percent of my shopping done and lots and lots and ok probably too many treats for myself as well. I cant wait to get the back to the future set via ups in a few days.
